The Manchester United Thread

I'm so glad I've got my little Princess Emma :)
Football just doesn't rile me any more. I just treat it like any other form of entertainment.

If football is getting you down. Have a baby ;)

Must be great having a way to send her to sleep watching United under Mourinho. :P

*joking, not joking*

Bonus that Fred got 15 mins run out. And that the England lads are coming back early from there hols to give us options. Really need to get these 2 more in.

I'd be amazed is Jose is still in the job next summer. Guy is already having a meltdown and lashing out at everybody after a bad preseasn friendly. Christ Almignty.

I feel like it's Media/Everyone else just overreacting, whatever United/Mou do or say gets bigged up..

I watched it, his words weren't twisted, if anything, they look less brutal in black & white text. He was a toxic, grumpy old fart in the post match. Discrediting the players he had out there, saying most of them aren't his players & that a few will be sold, before then digging into Martial for leaving the tour to be at the birth of his newborn baby, saying he should be back now that she's born, etc. Just doesn't do himself any favours whatsoever.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results” - Why Jose does this at every club, forcing an inevitable meltdown is beyond me.

Converse that to Klopp who’s still without a slew of top players, having kids, many of whom won’t be here by the deadline for next season, to fill out what he currently has to work with (including yesterday wh made Moutinho’s per-game nonsense all the more laughable), going out of his way after every game/ most the training sessions, to praise the likes of Camacho, Jones, Phillips, Woodburn et all.

Then you’ve that cretin narking all tour about the lack of players, ‘his’ players, not being there et all. Way to make Utd’s youngsters feel wanted and a big part of the group.

the more I watch that Mourinho post conference, the more absurd the comments are. He's literally lost the plot, criticising martial yet again. This season could be a real mess if we're not careful. He clearly doesn't like Martial and by now the feeling will definitely be mutual. Then he says that he wouldn't of paid to watch that game..... you are a ****** **** mate to say that on a US tour where the club is trying to gain fans, not lose them.

All in all, my hated for Mourinho grows stronger, he even criticised Valencia for supposedly getting him out of shape on holiday.

Also to add to the misery.. Matic will be injured for start of season also.

Woodward deserves blame don't get me wrong, but Mourinho is full meltdown already, where are the signings?

I just hope this season doesn't turn into a mess, he's doing his best to make it that way, a lot of the dressing room can't be happy with him after his comments.

While I agree with some of your stuff Z let’s hold of on the meltdown stuff till we start season the results when the season starts.

The Glaziers will be taking serious flak for that z. Not least off the organisers.

Getting paid millions to participate in the ICC. Then have your manager telling everyone not to tip up and pay to watch it for them to recoup that outlay!

Forget the continued damage he does to the brand and the way he has Utd thought of by most everyone else with his mad outbursts. That’s just jaw dropping to bite the hand that feeds.

Just how good was Fergie? Forget winning titles with Darren Fletchers, Parks, Tom Cleverley's, John O'Shea's & co. (with all due respect) playing big parts, making the Glazers look competent was as much if not more of an achievement.

The comments were ludicrous, but problem Is with our board like woody and Glazers that they have no bottle. Will they reprimand Mourinho, I highly doubt it, lets face it he wouldn't take it well either.

The worrying thing is how he is speaking about a lot of this squad, he is almost alienating himself from the dressing room. How can barely any of our players like him after those comments. He practically had a go at most the squad.

The difference.

The kids were great to watch, Pep style stamped all over em. Foden and Diaz had a blinder.. Nmencha will get a loan out but impressive hold up play.

Foden excites me. Love when British isle players have unique, non-stereotypical skillsets, Le Tissier, Scholes, Lallana, etc. Foden definitely in that bracket.
