For the fee being touted around 20/30m he would be a great Grealish alternative and 1 half years younger. Can play anywhere behind the STR. Great technical and a pretty good dribbler. Also very good act triggering the press. If he was fit for Bournemouth all season they would of stayed up no doubt imo.

If we can get him in and get rid of one or both of Lingard/Periera that would be a big improvement in the depth for attacking positions with Sancho/or another RW coming in.

Great vid to show not just his talant. But more importantly his versatility. Get shades of Mahrez watching him play. Was better than Maddison or as good as season before last.
 
Squad players are meant to improve competition for places in the first team, sorry but it's ridiculous if we sign him. Another player who's British and apart from that, **** all to justify the United move. Our scouting is **** poor if that's the best we can come up with... but I'm not surprised which is the most depressing thing.

Just need Bale now to complete the Welsh fearsome trio.... right chaps? :D

Wouldn't be totally against it, only if Pereira and Lingard are 100% gone.

It would be a massive upgrade on Periera, Lingard. Which would be good enough for me to start with. Plus the fact he’s actually a really good player. Nearly ended up at Spurs under Poch but the deal fell through due to a 10m in price difference.
 
Don’t know why the scouting is getting a bashing either. They will only provide reports on the player Ole and the staff will be the ones deciding who the targets are. And our scouting has been finding some of the best talents around Europe the last 3/4 yrs since the restructuring has happened.

Remember these these type of arrogant comments when Pool were linked with players like Gio, Robertson, Shaqiri, Divock etc early in there rebuild under Klopp from Utd fans.

Brooks would be a great addition to the squad. But obviously we need first 11 players also. But Brooks won’t stop us signing these players anyway.

This isn't news, though. BvB has always maintained that. They do not want performance led bonuses etc. I reckon they will be more amenable to staggered payments (despite Romano's statements) but yeah, we may not have the funds to meet that and get other players.

I don't mind, honestly, but we should just move on if talks aren't progressing.

This is it mate. They will except 80+20+20 just in instalments and not add ons. Like you said nothings changed.
 
Potential additional issue if Dean wont go to other team on loan. Your GK bench is stacked.

Think Romero wants to leave if reports are true. We released 2 u23 GKs. Joel and Kovar are both going out on loan.
 
Here is something i'm not sure is or gets discussed much, the lack of quality scouting knowledge the club seems to have. Again probably boils down to the lack of a director of football, but i think its really shoddy for such a big club.
 
Tobin Heath and Christen Press are close to signing deals to play with Manchester United. Not quite over the line but club and players are in agreement and moving towards the line

Will have some women’s team this year ?
