The Manchester United Thread

I told ya something will come out of nowhere. I think all this Dembele stuff is try to put pressure on Dortmund. Sky Germany reporting we had a bid rejected today but will go back in. Then not long after all this Dembele talk of a big bid. And Sancho not travelling either for the game against Bayern. **** getting real though for sure. Buckle in ?

Yeah but the weird thing is that the sources for Dembele are saying that it's pretty much done, not in negotiations.

Well in fairness, Arsenal have left it until the last week to do their big deals for Partey or Aoaur. it's at this point really the determine factor whether you actually get them or not.
Partey about to sign a new deal according to Spanish press this week.

It's the Sancho carnage that has made you a complete laughing stock again regardless of any panic alternatives that may or may not arrive. (Dembele would be be as mad a scattergun alternative as it gets and SO Woodward with his reactionary, NO plan want.).

Hugill scores while Mastny saves. United win the shootout 5-4 & get the bonus point to stay top of the table. Mastny man of the match after 3 penalty saves & some great saves in open play, Fish, Elanga, Pye & Mejbri did well & Hansen-Aaroen looked impressive when he came on.

Five 16 yr olds featured three started in the youngest side ever to feature in the competition.

So from the jist of it after the dust settled on the craziness seems like we want to bring in Telles and Sancho on permanent deals. Along with Jovic and Dembele on loans with options to buy. That along with DVB IF and that’s a big IF happened would be a good window despite the shambles of how it’s been organised. Especially if the outgoings happen also.

Some source said Barcelona rejected a £134 million bid from us for Ansu Fati.

Idk what to believe in anymore

Oriol Domenech who is Barca go to guy in the media shot it down pretty much straight away. Did confirm we enquired but never actually made a bid as Barca flat won’t let him go. Also about to sign a new 6 year deal making him the most expensive paid teenager in world football.

No way. Deals don't happen so cut and dry as depicted. A club won't make a bid unless a. it'll be accepted. b. to put pressure on the selling club and c. unsettling the player. Fati doesn't fit any of these scenarios, that's a load of tosh.

Basically all a storm over nothing last night, people said the bid hadn't even been made despite Sky reporting it initially which set it all off.

Here is basically how I see the final few days in three aspects: -

1) Good - Sancho, Jovic on loan, Telles.

2) Mediocre/bad - Telles, Cavani on loan

3) Bad/Terrible - Telles and/or no one.
