The Manchester United Thread

OMAR BERRADA (CEO) • CFOO at City Group • Senior roles at Barca

DAN ASHWORTH (Sporting Director) • Sporting/Technical Director, West Brom • Technical Director, Brighton • Sporting Director, Newcastle

JASON WILCOX (Senior Role) • Director of Football, Southampton • Academy Director, Man City

Now, that's a proper structure. INEOS appointing very experienced people to run football operations at Man Utd.

New feeder club 😁

Manchester United are also looking at another role for an executive who would work between United and INEOS’ French Ligue 1 side Nice on recruitment and squad planning. #MUFC [@TeleFootball]

U18s drew 2-2 with Forest maintainingvthete unbeaten run from the start of the season.

the women got embarrassed 4-1 by Arsenal and killed any slight hope of getting a CL place next season. Skinnar has got to go SJR🙏🏼

I dont follow the women as much as you but why does Skinnar have to go? They have done well since they have been formed, and lost good players pretty much every year. And will probably lose Earps at the end of the season. For how long they have been going i think they have done quite well. Next season will be fun with chelsea's manager going.

They did well mainly under Casey Stoney. Yes Skinnar had a good season last year and got us into a CL spot. This was mainly due to Arsenal and City being crippled with ACL injuries to key players the second half of last season.

He was then handed the biggest transfer budget of all the top WSL clubs in the summer signed some top top players from around Europe then has never hardly played any of them as he would rather pick his favourites even despite it being for the worse of the team/results/performances. Then has the cheek to complain his squad isnt big enough and hasn’t been backed enough. Also the reason why good players keep leaving because he doesn’t rotate and keeps picking his favourites.

Our record against the so called big 3 City, Arsenal and Chelsea is absolutely appalling especially Chelsea. We are out of all competitions. His subs are predictable week in week out as is his team selection. We have also lost a lot of good young talented players from the academy due to no pathway. And the ones we didn’t lose are out on loan playing very well in other prem sides and will likely leave if Skinnar remains.

It’s just a mess you watch the matches and just look at the coaching staff at on the sidelines it’s chaos. Skinner and his 2 assistance frantically shouting instructions onto the pitch at the same time. And when there’s a break in play all 3 are running around like headless chickens fighting for players to talk to. You can actually see the players confused receiving different instructions from each member of the coaching team. There has actually been heated arguments during matches between staff and players this season due to players not understanding what needs to be done.

If he stays on I bet more players will leave especially without the pull of CL and him being a favourite picker. Earps is thinking about leaving because she knows this squad is going nowhere under him. Grace Clinton one of the hottest prospects in England right now having a second amazing season out on loan will likely leave like Lauren James did as Skinnar doesn’t want to give youth a chance. Ivan Guerrero World Cup winner and WC CM will likely leave due to getting no game time. Already rumours of Geyse looking for a move and frustrated by the teams progress. Louise Garcia our best winger might leave as she’s used more of a sub.

BREAKING: Minnesota United is nearing a deal to appoint Manchester United assistant Eric Ramsay head coach, sources say. Ramsay, 31, will be youngest full time head coach in MLS history. Final details being worked out between all parties.

250 jobs to be gone at Utd most likely after Brailsford has nearly completed his review. Not surprising as Ornstien reported we have about 400 more than the next club staff wise in the league

I ain't worried. Club will sell some HG talent and raise at least 100m to spend. But United need a lot more than that, and that is honestly amazing considering all the spending.
