Lost 2-1 and went out. Can’t fault the lads that played. We did well considering we were obliterated with loads away on international duty. Malacia looked sharp for the 45 mins he played. Amorim and his coaching staff watched also.
 
Do you have a good feeling for the future TOD? As a Manchester United fan. Do you feel that things will be different now?
We had Moyes, Van Gaal, Jose, ten Hag!! All with different pedigrees and undoubted talent. We have signed players that should have set the stage for success. Alexis Sanchez, Jadon Sancho, Angel Di Maria, Memphis Depay, Donny van de Beek etc...

Why has Old Trafford become a graveyard for both managers and players?
Should we expect something different under Amorim?
Or will we carve another headstone?

I honestly don’t know mate. They all failed for multitude of reasons. The only thing I have hope for now is that’s it’s pretty much a clean slate football structure wise. And they have the guy they wanted as manager to take the new Utd project forward. So fingers crossed. Everything I have watched, read about the new guy. It’s super impressive and it’s got my hopes back again 🤞🏼
 
Viktor Gyokeres will be the acid test for me.
If our new "setup" doesn't yank him in by the b.ollix, there's something wrong.

I’m not sure they will. Hojlunds a very similar STR. Just doesn’t get the service. And the price could put us off. Seeing there’s more pressing concerns and we just spent £100m on STR in the last 2 windows. Still have Rashford. And also signed Hugill probs new long term deal who’s doing great out on loan. And also signed 2 of the hottest striker youngsters in Europe over the summer.
