Banter aside do you think it will be a case of Ole 2.0 or do you think its a change much needed? The current manager landscape is quite bare bones with only a few standout characters. Plus the addition of more games next year how will Carrick and his coaching staff compare then. Results have veen good under Carrick but what about underlying performances?

Tbh I will state from the off he wasn’t my first or 2nd but niether we’re available. Also I have obvious concerns like most Utd fans. The only one in regards with Carrick is the extra games and how he will handle it. Yeah could say lacks experience at a top club but most managers with that experience have also struggled.

I don’t feel like it’s going to be Ole 2.0 due to the simple fact they both play completely different styles of play in there jobs outside of Utd. Ole at Molde and Carrick at Middlesbrough. Also completely different personalities and have different coaching staff.

On the performances tbh I’ve not been overly reading a lot into them. They’ve been up and down but that’s to be expected. He’s done / doing what he’s been asked to do since been given the job.

Carrick success will be determined by factors he has less control over ie what happens off the pitch in regards to them above him supporting him.

For once in a long time things around the club seem calm for once, especially going into a summer.

CL secured. Manager sorted. Nearly all the players that need to leave are leaving either due to being out of contract or agreed transfers elsewhere or close to doing so. All the contracts extension are boxed off already. All that’s left is bringing in the players that the squad needs. For once we are also going into a window needing to sign 4/5 guaranteed starters. Just 1/2 the rest is about strengthening the depth.
 
Fair enough. Like all football clubs you live and die by your recruitment and you know the pressing issues you have in the team. If he can surround himself with a coaching team aswell then it could be a springboard for some type of success. It could also go heavily wrong but like I said the current landscape has no one out there who can do a better job than continuing with building with what you have.

Yeah there’s 2 coaching staff already agreed to come in with him to join his existing staff. An attacking coach from Bayern and a set piece coach. Rebuilding our midfield will be key to any success next season. Just like rebuilding our attack was last summer
 
Women lost there last league match of the season vs Chelsea 1-0. Played well tbh just lacked in quality around there box.


U21s lost there pl2 play off match vs Brighton
