I was at the council meeting yesterday afternoon, where every single counciller voted for buying back Home Park. Its one big step towards exiting administration, and if all goes well it could be done by tomorrow or Friday. James Brent just needs to secure agreements over pay with 4 people [2 former players, 1 former employee + a former board member]. Focusing on Saturdays match against Swindon, lets hope we keep up our good run of form.. ;)

After 10 months without pay, 8 months in administration, 5 months dealing with a nooby cornish gingerman, countless hours protesting for the sake of our club, finally tomorrow this pain could all be over... Argyle till' I die ♥

Dons have been dipping off a bit lately - started off really well and was disappointed with the 2-2 at home to Bournemouth

Should secure a win this weekend at home to Scunny but couple of tough away games coming - hoping we're still in the playoffs come new year and go from there!

Good 5-3 win v Barnsley! Dissapointing to see Miller go off again, great to see McPhail back after his tough time and Giggles you'll be happy to know Joe Mason got on the scoresheet and won MOM!

Mason Bennett at Derby, hit the woodwork twice and it took a world class save from Steele to stop another. He played over 80 minutes and was a major threat to Boro throughout.

The kid is 15 years old and nearly scored a debut hat trick away at Middlesbrough, I think he has undoubted talent.

Nigel Clough has a lot of faith in him, he sounds good from the Boro match feedback. Manchester City have been tracking him for a year and the kids still in school, to make an 80 minute debut away at Middlesbrough and play instead of Cywka whilst nearly scoring a hat trick... I'm guessing this kid is one to watch.

Boro won the game 2-0, Williams and Emnes on the scoresheet and Justin Hoyte actually played well which is about as rare as an Ameobi goal.

One to watch on FM12 and in the next year I would say.

Yesterdays match brought that "we could of got something from that match in truth" feeling, but in the end another home defeat- Something thats become expected over the past 3 seasons, it wouldn't suprise me if we have the lowest win percentage [home & away] from the past couple of years with Stockport. We didn't play that bad in truth, just our defensive lacks expierence. Nelson, Gibson & Berry are all young and learning- Berry isn't even a RB but still plays there every week- His positional sense was the reason we conceded yesterday, but I'm not going to blame him for our loss, because Swindon killed us on the counter. We had CB Soukouna on the LM- Mainly because of his strength and he can win a battle in the air, but really, if you want that- Play him up front with Lecointe. Feeney's a hard worker but sadly he hasn't added much up front and thats what we need our strikers to do. We also need Fletch & Walton in CM, we are missing an expierenced head like Fletcher but Simon Walton has been fantastic since becoming captain.

Despite being 4 points away from safety, I'm not pressing any panic buttons yet. Things have improved under Fletcher and I'm hoping there will be a surge once the takeover is finally done- Including some loan signings. CB, a fast winger and a striker would do. However, we have some massive matches coming up- Torquay, Bradford & Hereford in the next 2 months will be vital and could shape the table come the end of the season. They are all relegation 6-pointers imo, and 9 points from those 3 matches would put us in a great position. I have full confidence we can stay up and keep our Football League status, however I think it will be another struggle and it might well go down to the final day of the season- Which is better than getting relegated before, I suppose. Its hard to predict what could happen at the bottom this season, all the teams have a chance of being relegated and imo nobody in that bottom pack is safe.

All we can do is hope the takeover is done ASAP, and that we win those 6-pointers. I remember in our championship days we had fellow strugglers Watford & Scunthorpe in our final season- We really needed at least 4 points to have a chance of surviving, we lost both and went down the next week. We can't afford to lose these big matches, but in the long-run a spirited performance against Swindon won't do any harm.

If he had scored, he would of been the youngest player to score since 1928-Ronnie Dix of Rovers scored against Norwich at the age of 15 years and 180 days.

Still don't think it will be broken in a hurry!

tough game away at Birmingham tonight but we are top of 'the form table' so hoping we can pick up a decent result. Would be thrilled with a draw

Stuart Campbell set to leave Rovers...

Amused, one is not.

I'd take him at Argyle on loan.

Fletcher has been confirmed as full-time manager this morning. We had a choice- Expierenced manager or Sign Expierenced Players- We couldn't have both, and we've made the right choice. I look foward to many happy Saturday Afternoons under Carl Fletcher & Romain Larrieu, they are both true greens and the perfect men for this job.

Paul Bignot joins on a 3 month loan deal from Blackpool. He will be the only RB we have in the first-team so a good signing, Newport County player of the season, and they reckon he was the best RB in the conference. Thank-You to Mr Holloway for lending him to us! :)

Hope he turns out a good signing for Plymouth :) Want them to do well after all they have been through.

sigh.

Another **** referee, is it only us that gets a massive slice of bad luck every match with a Homer Ref?

5 Minutes of time were added on at the end of the second half [There was 4 subs, so 2 minutes and no other injuries or stoppages...] and suprise, they score in the 94th minute after a fantastic performance which deserved 3 points. Cheated out by another awful awful awful referee, one day, will something, anything, actually go in our favour? Maybe the FA could actually send us a qualified referee who can time-keep for our future matches. :'(

In the last week Cardiff had 3 tough games against Leeds, Derby and Crystal Palace which finished 1-1, 3-0, 2-0 respectively

7/9 points in that tough week is excellent, Cardiff surge up to 3rd! \0/ /0\ \0/

nice recovery from the embarrassing 5-0 defeat by Blackpool with a solid 1-0 win at Leicester. Hopefully new keeper is good (played amazing against us last year)

Muzzy Carayol is amazing.

Probably one of the best wingers I've seen in my time watching the Rovers!

What a game we had yesterday. 3-3, sendings off, stourbridge giving it a real go with their fantastic support, Argyle getting a goal when they needed it. It had everything- And personally, despite not beating a bunch of part-timers who are 3 divisions below us, I'm going to take the positives-

This was the cup, shocks happen, and I had a feeling Stourbridge would be up for this. We're in the hat for the 2nd Round, thats great as far as I'm concerned.

We scored 3 goals for the first time at home for the first time since forever, and despite an average performance, we didn't give up and got a goal when we needed it.

And maybe, this replay of ours, could be on TV? Who knows... Non-League teams in the FA Cup usually only get 1 shot of a giant-killing, so I'm hoping we will beat them in the replay, but it won't be easy.

Are Fletcher and Larrieu now on the coaching staff? Delighted with Plymouth's recovery, hope it never happens to another team again. I have to say, Peter Reid is one fantastic man!

I follow my local team Cheltenham fairly closely, and I have been delighted with their fantastic start to the season. In particular, Daryll Duffy and Jack Butland, both of which are new signings. League 1 here we come! :D
