yeah :) its pretty nice. I hope we keep it next year, although we have a habit of getting rid of nice away kits...
and also well done on the promotion :) i suppose you wont be using this thrread for at least a year ;)

Did Barnsley win the title today?

No thought not. Still don't understand why they were celebrating a 2 all draw that meant nothing to them in a mediocre season knowing full well that it meant we were down.

What a total embarrassment the players were to the club for showing a massive lack of respect to the opposition.

Having said that they were on holiday. Probably only came to Sheffield to see the traffic lights change.

Semi-good day out at Coventry.

Took ******* ages getting back but was a good day with all the fans.

WE ARE GOING UP!

It is with deep regret and sadness that I say goodbye to this thread.

Well, looks like our terrible, horrible, brain-imploding season is coming to an end. Not a great day, we played poorly tbh, and struggled to get a hold- The linesman was just terrible, and the so-called PL ref was bias towards Exeter- Funny how he's reffing a charity match on Monday too, the main reason why he's here- Nothing to do with the match, just suiting personal needs.

We had a dissalowed goal, just as I was about to erupt, I seen the flag- And that was our best move of the match. Mason should of scored, but he slipped as he was about to tap in. No violence I'm pleased too say, the police did a generally good job, though for some reason they was videoing our walk to the train station.

Well, unless there is a massive miracle, we are League 2 next season- Southampton at home on Monday- If we don't win we are relegated, and if Southampton win I think they go up- Of course we was relegted against Newcastle on a Monday, as they got promoted.. De Ja Vu? However, if we do go in 1-0 down at HT, if there is one team and one manager in the world that could halt the Saints Promotion Party- Its our team and Peter Reid.

We could of gone bust last February, but the commitment of our fans, players and staff, who have gone unpayed have kept the club alive. I'll be taking every oppurtunity on Monday and Saturday to thank the players and unpayed staff- Alot of them won't be back next season.... So when the new owner comes in, and Reidy rebuilds our squad... League 2 better watch out.

Thanks for the hard work and commitment- Onwards & Upwards

Not sure how you can use the ref as an excuse today :S he had a good game i thought, better than normal league 1 refs as he lets the play go on if theres an advantage. obviously i couldnt see if your goal was offside because i was in big bank opposite but seems it was right decision and he probably got it right with the pass back against us just before half time even though i didnt agree at the time. not sure what other decisions you could complain about?
was expecting your team to be much better as you were fighting for survival but looks like your down now... also expected your fans to be louder too, i know its open terrace but other teams have been louder and thats without it being derby, only heard you quietly a few times all game!

SFC, you lucky ******! Getting them signatures is class, and I wish I got Lallana or Chamberlain on the back of my home shirt, but I ended up with nothing! :P Hopefully I can get a few sigs at Plymouth on Monday. If I knew what you looked like, I would give you a wave! Haha, hope we get 3 points and more or less secure our promotion, bar a 15-0 Huddersfield win... :D

Don't be too cocky yet, if you get deducted 15 points, all the games you played against teams which you used him could get points taken away, meaning the playoffs will be pointless, shame ;) you might have to play the mighty Brighton next season after all

I am dreading the Cardiff match. they are going to rip us apart. I was at the Leicester game and it was the worst game of football I have ever seen (from a leeds perspective, Leicester were also very very good).MOT... I guess

my first post in this thread all those months ago. Season has been very good for us from this point :)

How can you create an atmopshere in a death-trap you call your away end? A few of our fans collapsed because they could hardly breath. I wouldn't expect that type of terracing in the Conference, nevermind a team coming close to the League One Playoffs.

And also, the ref and his officials were bias- And its happened against us ever since we've gone into Administration tbh. The linesman on my left, in the 2nd half, was just poor. As was the linesman in the 1st half- Offsides, Corners, Free-Kicks all given wrongly. And the cheek of playing 'We'll meet again' on your half-broken PA as we left the ground, just made my blood-boil. Your a tin-pot club, and always will be- Because one day we'll meet again, and we'll be flying back up the Football League...

happens to yeovil a lot as well mate the "little" clubs always suffer in these situations

Can't help but laugh at everyone who wrote us off after our slump!

I thought we'd struggle to make the playoffs after the blip in form, but always had that bit of hope in the back of my mind. So so so happy that its Leeds were beating to the 6th spot too. Obviously it'd be better if it was Derby, but they are so **** they can't even beat Bristol City at home.

It's pretty much in the bag. Leeds won't beat QPR by 5 and I don't think Palace will put that many past us. Boyd has hit form, so have the team at just the right time so I think we'll get something out of the Palace game now they are safe.

No better way to sign off the season than with a 5-1 thumping - the first one we've had in a while at home.

YOU REDS!!

Apparently Stuart Campbell and Jeff Hughes were crying at full time yesterday.
Conrad Logan, Danny Senda, JP Kalala, Gavin Williams and Hughes all said they'd sign contracts with us if they are offered.
Gavin Williams left the ground wearing his Rovers shirt.
Conrad Logan said he'll give me his gloves next Sunday if he wins the player of the season.

It seems as if the players want to fire us back into L1. I couldn't ask for more from them.
