Scunny 1 - 1 Portsmouth. Decent performance to end a poor season.

Hopefully we'll get rid of some dead wood for next season and aim for the playoffs :).
If there is any chance of us getting Ramon Nunez next season please make it happen (no chance probably), he scored a quality goal today.

Oh and Southampton fans word on the street is that you are signing David Mirfin on a free in the summer.

Well thank-god this season is over.

All of our bad-luck was rolled up into one during the match, and because of it we undeservdly lost 4-1. First goal an Orient Penalty, the ball smashed against Nelson's arm, no way it was intentional- How the **** could he get out the way from a shot just 2 yards in front of him? Then a soft FK for the 2nd goal. The 3rd Leyton Goal, our keeper Larrieu coming rushing out the goal, once again the ball hits his arm [Outside the area] he couldn't get out the way but sigh. Straight red. The FK takes a massive deflection and they score.

But it was the scenes at the end that made me proud. Man City may have money, Man United may have trophies, Arsenal may have a big stadium but we have something totally unique to all other clubs in the football team. A Team and a set a fans, that have joined together in our darkest days to make sure, we can spend Saturdays at Home Park and on the road. The fans and staff joined together to make sure our club didn't go out of business, and well I commend them.

Its been a horrible couple of years, but well.. The worst of it is over. We can look foward to League 2, and a totally new bunch of players. So thank-you Button, Fletcher, Fallon, Zubar, Nelson, Mason, Duguid, Paterson, Arnason & all the others that will be leaving us. You've done us proud!

Onwards & Upwards and bring on League 2!

******* cheating bastards ! O'Connor down with a head injury and the ref played on and they scored !?

From what i have seen at Hillsborough it should be Plymouth who stay up and Exeter that go down, Plymouth play good football all Exeter do is lump it over the top to 'old biddie' up front .

Well done Q.P.R. Look forward to seeing them in the Prem next season.

Post of the year.

I commend you Sir, and I thank-you for pointing our that our 'friends' up the road struggle in playing football of a decent nature and find it hard at the best of times to find sportsmanship.

I though this well neat, follow the link (It says, THANKS 4 YOUR SUPPORT);

Why thank you :)

About the sportsmanship, O'Connor had a word with the guy who kicked him in the head just before we kicked off again and he pushed O'Connor and it was just so stupid. I wish Plymouth all the best next year and hopefully swap places with Exeter in the football league .

Just wanna say WOOOOO!

Every single Reading fan cheered when we saw Cardiff Drew and Swansea won.. (means we get Cardiff in play offs)

Just wanted to avoid Swansea tbh..

URZ!

Not sure how you worked out we should be relegated :S we've beat you twice this season and finished well above you so clearly we do play better football. i wasnt at the game today but so cant comment on how we played but we play some of the best passing football in the league and alot of managers have said this. and if we were lumping it over the top cureton is hardly the best player for it baring in mind how short he is. he is quality though and his 20 goals this year prove that hope he stays. and plymouth a good side? your having a laugh lol they are in relegation for a reason and ive seen them twice this season and were dreadfull in both games and im not being bias.

Play to your Strenghs. They're allowed to play whatever way they want.. whatever wins games (dont actually know if they won).

Yes, we are in the relegation zone for a reason.

Because we of financial mis-management from 7 former directors, which resulted in us having to sell 5/6 of our best players in January as the club started to rise and then having to go into administration and take a 10 point deduction. Without the 10 point deduction we would have stayed up. Without the January fire-sale, we'd be top 12.

So please, before questioning us and calling us a 'dreadful' side, look at the facts. [106 Years its took for you to be in a league above us, remember that before you get all big time Charlie]

THE SAINTS ARE GOING UP!

So happy. Went on the pitch invasion at the end to see the players left the runners-up trophy. Atmosphere was outstanding, and to get 32,000 fans in League 1 must account for something?

Very, very happy. Bring on the Championship next season, and most of all, BRING ON THE SKATES! :D

You try and use Cureton's pace and that failed today, he is to old and i can see him retiring soon. You were poor and it would of been at least 5 or 6 - 2 to us if it wasn't for your keeper. We got cheated out of the game by the **** of a referee and Plymouth played better football at our place than you by a country mile, and about Plymouth been rubbish, who was in the Championship last year ? There only in relegation because of debt not because they are rubbish, they are a very very decent side and i expect to see them bounce straight back up into League One. And i meant based on the football you and Plymouth played v us, you should be the team in Plymouth's current position.

Next season we will be back with some good signings and it may well be us who go up and hopefully your ******* players who start on players from a team with 2 or 3 assault convicts in it will learn how to play football at one point as i couldn't see any decent football from you lot today.,

But my point is that lumping it over the top failed today and the first goal shouldn't of been counted .

Parry Out f***in clueless

Sigh. Considering you was one of the Pre-Season relegation favourites, you've done well to pull away from that dog-fight and finish in a half-decent position. You should now be worrying about pushing on for next season, and if your in the same situation again, then I suppose you can ask Parry to be sacked.

But my point is that lumping it over the top failed today and the first goal shouldn't of been counted .

So why're you complaining if it failed?

Can't blame a team if it shouldn't of counted. Down to the Referee.

According to radio you hammered them so how is it the referees fault you didn't take your chances.

I did blame the ref and i am complaining because he calls Plymouth **** when there not and Plymouth play nicer football :)

Don't want any arguments anyway.

I didn't blame ref for us not scoring oO) I said if it wasn't for Exeter's keeper who had a great game we would of won 5 or 5 nil.

Blackpool play nicer football than Bolton in my opinion, doesn't mean they're better.
