Le Fondre will go to a much bigger club than Colchester, Mid Table championship at least. I think next season could be interesting in league one, and probably closer than last year. I don't think anyone's going to run away with the league like brighton did, and I think there could be as many as 10 teams aiming for at least the playoffs.

Andy Scott said after final game Le Fondre is staying at Rotherham.

Although I wouldn't mind if he came to us. ;)

Every team in the Championship let some players go today, sadly the Boro bid farewell to Willo Flood and Maximilian Haas! (Signed him for 600k in January from Bayern...Can't remember him playing a game

Ayee, i think he will join a Championship team although we have one of the biggest budgets in the league now i can see him rejecting us if we offer although he said he would join (i think)

Giggles, Tommy Miller has been released, maybe you could get him ?

To be fair, we are still not sure if we will have a buyer when the fixture list is released, so nothing can be speculated yet.. Not until the owner sets Peter Reid a budget. Obviously, the mess we got ourselves into was partly to blame from high player wages, so anybody who joins us, shouldn't be expecting anymore than 2k a week.

It amazes me how many players are released from their club each year [In the mornings, I see a whole host of them on Sky Sports News] and it always leaves me thinking- I wonder if we could snap them up. One name I remember seeing this morning was Ivan Sproule who was released from Bristol City.

I'm not sure how much wages he's on a week, and I'd take a guess at 3/4k a week? Obviously, he'd have to drop his wages to join us, but I reckon we could make a solid squad from Championship 'Rejects'...

Akinde got released aswell. Although he has a massive head and that, hes not a bad player, especially for league 2...

2K a week's still fairly good money though, apparently that's just about what our highest earners on.

To be fair, 2k is nothing compared to what players like Damien Johnson, Simon Walton and Steve Maclean are on. and also Dunc, I seen Akinde was let go from Bristol City but I'm not sure how good he is

Luke (Phillips) thinks he's garbage.

Any news on the favourites to replace him? Lord I hope Peter Reid's name isn't metioned around... :/ And more importantly, who would you want?

Haven't got a clue who's going to replace him. I just want a manager for the long term who can take us back up ASAP.

But the way the board have treated Adams was a joke hope he gets a job somewhere else soon.

Should of kept Adams for a few more month, give him a pretty poor team (standard wise) and only like 3 month to save you from relegation, bad decision.

It's a **** decision. Just when Micky had identified the wankbags intent on ruining this club and wanted them out it is he himself who gets the chop! It really is amateur hour with McCabe, im fu*king livid! :@ :@

I still think you will be a top 8-10 team, but with Adams maybe a top 6. Do you think Zola/Di Matteo would join ?

Akinde is terrible. Absolutely ******* terrible. I seriously lost count as to how many times he sent a shot 20 yards over/wide of the goal from 10 yards out. For someone of his size you would expect him to jump and head the ball? Well he didn't, I seen him jump once and he fell flat on his ****. Credit to him where it's due though, he was very good at running with the ball and had bags of pace for someone of his size, this was demonstrated against Wycombe in the JPT, however this was the only time I seen him play well.....

Clever money on the United job is John Pemberton, the acedemy manager and ex player I reckon, it's cheaper signing somone internally, and they dont have a lot of money left
