I was quite surprised too, but that only sets us up for an exciting second round of matches and really it's anyone's game now, even one goal will do it.

And also, Peter Reid linked to the Sheffield United job. Wouldn't losing our saviour, be the cherry on the icing on top of the cake for this season. We have to do everything we can to keep hold of him but if an offer for him comes in, we are well and truly screwed. and even worse, have to hire from within to get a manager for next season.

Hands off United...
 
Don't think Reid will leave you tbh. Di Matteo has already announced his interest in the job.

Come on Forest (My Dad supports them, he was gutted when they dropped from 2nd last season :P)!!!
Oh, and who do you think will leave West Ham in the summer? Parker? Upson? Green? Just wanted your opinion, where will that £40m come from?
 
I thought Boro's wage bill was huge down in the championship but it is tiny compared to West Hams wage bill! Hitzelsperger alone is on like 40k a week so he might have to be offloaded, then as for their 'England internationals' Cole Upson and Green they all earn highly. I just hope a top club doesn't go out and buy Green because he is so unreliable with mistakes, Upson is a bit over rated but would be suited to the championship. I just wanna phone up Mowbray and tell him to try and buy Da Costa from West Ham he has amazing potential and has been surprisingly solid every game hes played especially vs Chelsea
 
Wow, Forest have been the better side, but it's now 3-1. Earnshaw scored one, then hit the post, McGugan and Blackstock also hit the crossbar. Fair play to Swansea' manager running down the touchline and celebrating with the fans.
 
Ohhh myy good god, can't quite believe it! Unlucky N. Forest, how many times did they hit the frame? Too many, shame really, cracking match, can't go on the **** though, work tomorrow :(
 
thought Swansea would win the tie but fair play to Forest for making the play offs. I'm backing Reading to go up
 
Swansea in Prem=Rodgers pulling some favours at Chelsea and will probably pull young Mcceachran on loan for them in the Prem!

Sounds like shallow reasoning but I'm no Swansea fan I'm just a bitter Boro fan who wishes ITV would stop hiring our ex ****** managers but hey that's just me oO)

COME ON SWANSEA! :)

I can imagine Swansea would be the kind of club that has stable books so of the 70 mill+ Prem revenue they could probably put 20 mill into a transfer kitty, getting ahead of myself! They need to beat Reading/Bellamy yet
