Back home now.

That's the best atmosphere I've ever been a part of; it even beats Arsenal's FA Cup Finals and Swansea's promotion to the Championship two year ago!

In the first half we genuinely looked like a Premier League club: we passed so, so perfectly, kept possession very well and even got to see Stephen Dobbie and Leon Britton at their best including their goals (but you could blame Forest's lack of defensive passion for both strikes). Thankfully Forest's first half cost them dear as we caught them sleeping really twice, plus incredible skill, to pull two ahead come the break.

It was all Forest to be fair in the second half, and if anybody looked like scoring it was the away team. I lost count at how many times the woodwork was hit tonight, and (was it) Tyson's free-kick that almost snapped the bar? Thought that was in. When Rob Earnshaw - boo, hiss - scored I though '****, this is gonna end a draw'. Then he hit the post.. dear god, nervous times that last ten minutes was. I've never celebrated so much in my life when Pratley scored from half way: admittedly brought a tear to my eye, incredible after the match too, pitch invasion XD

Unlucky Notts, don't think 3-1 was the right result but it'll definitely do. Bring on the scum at Wembley!

Que sera, sera!

Many may not believe me but im happy Swansea won

Bring on tomorrow and Swansea see you at Wembley \0/ /0\ \0/ /0\ \0/

Borini could make the most of being loaned out.

He rejected a Chelsea contract earlier this year, and will leave on a free. According to his agent he could stay at Swansea provided they go up.

Exactly my point ;] If he stays at Swansea on a permanent deal (in case they get promoted) he will get more chances to play in the first team. Better that way.

Really hope Borini stays, fantastic player and gets in the best of positions. He'll be lethal in a few years.

I wonder why it's always us who are so unlucky.

Well done to the jacks though, what a game.

In which case I completely agree, and I'll be happy for Swansea as well.

Why is there such a long break before the final, does anybody know? 2 weeks is an awfully long time.

Probably to compensate for the ***** pitch at Wembley.

In all honesty I thought we were going to do it in the last ten minutes, we deserved an equaliser. Andre Marriner needs to spend less time on a sunbed and more time studying how to referee a game of football, so do his linesmen. What the **** were they doing when Tyson was pulled down in the box?! Halfway up the other end of the ******* pitch!

So disappointed that yet again its us that fall foul to some awkward decisions and bad luck, hitting the bar 3 times? McGoldricks was a nothing chance, he was marked well, but to hit the bar when De Vries was well beaten.. sake. Tudgay defending for your first goal too, should have never been in that position, he was always going to get done.

Dobbie got lucky with that **** bit of fat useless skill like he always does because he is fat and useless, and I hate him. Good finish though.

We looked good in the 2nd half, again. Too little too late for Forest. The bar saved Swansea at the last and if it wasnt for the slip up by whoever it was, Prat wouldnt have been allowed to break and put the game to bed. So unlucky.

Not taking anything away from Swansea though however malicious this post might sound. They played well and at the end of the day the best team won, they do play some good football. So do we, we gave them a good game, and its back to the drawing board for Forest.

I guess so people can sort out transport, tickets, sort TV schedule out. Also, there'll be a bunch of finals there at that time, like Champions League and the other playoffs.

Just heard that Billy Davies was waiting for the all the away fans back at the City Ground from their return from Wales.

Nice touch, just hope he isn't saying bye.

He has played only a few times, but in those games, he has scored 94th minute a winner and he was MOTM in the play-off semi-final IMO

good to hear. Only young and got him from man city so hopefully he may be decent next year. Never actually seen him play, what kind of player would you say he is?
Btw shouldn't you be at school :S

Ah, well done Reading, better team on the day, Cardiff = Chokers!!

I think that will be the last cardiff see of dave jones

We need a fresh approach, and our owners to dip into their pockets
