Paul Wotton is a GOD. Just thought i'd say that great piece of business from us to get him on a free (yes i'm talking about last seasons transfers due to the fact we've only signed gavin williams and agard, both of which im very happy with but we have a squad of about 8 players atm)

I 100% agree. Wotton was an idol for me, and many other fans. He was Mr Argyle. He ran the show in midfield, I loved him, and I always will love him. The moment we released Paul Wotton was the moment we ripped away a big piece of our values, and our histories. I would love for him to come back as a player or even a coach as the time goes by...
I want to see him at yeovil for the next 2/3 years at least so good at breaking up opposition attacks and really starting our own ones now we have gav back that could be the beggining of a beautiful partnership if we play gav in the hole and wotton in front of the back 4

I completely agree with you all about Wotton. We signed him a few years ago from Plymouth on a free. He was great for us, as Gates has said, at breaking up opposition attacks and holding the ball up etc. Alot of Saints fans didn't like him, however I was certainly a fan. I can't really see why we let him go!
I totaly agree! He always gave 110% even if we were 3-0 down he would still give it his all. Adkins said in his recent interview that he let wotton go so that gobern could be the 4th choice centre mid. He started to loose his pace and his passing could be hit and miss but he allways gave everything and was really useful when trying to hold on to a result as he would sit in front of the back 4 and shut up shop.

Cardiff will be lucky to reach the ****** playoff's with Taylor playing LB.
Some fan's will say 'your just bitter he rejected your contract offer' etc etc, truth is the kid has stalled for the past 4 years since he was a U-21 regular. Just like McMahon he lacks the pace and intelligence to play consistent and well as a modern fullback.
Good luck to him and Cardiff but I wont be crying tonight over Andrew Taylor jumping ship (As long as Mowbray plays Bennett and not Arca at LB):S

Slightly dissapoinited he's left, but he's not anything special. He's powerful, but lacks concentration and any sort of pace. Gives away so many free-kicks to, hopefully making up some room for a better CB.
SSN said this morning they were expecting an announcement from Peter Ridsdale, however its not what I expected it to be about? The new owners were due to agree today, nothings been said so far. The silence gets louder...

He joined the squad at Pre Season training and if he is half as good as he once was he will be our main man next season, he was Nice's player of the season last season...Still only 24...Love him.
