haha Grayson said today that we are looking at a number of options to replace Kasper, including Jerzy Dudek! XD Not sure if he's past it or not. We have lost 3 players and only signed one so I want some signings over the next couple weeks!

Whoever made the decision to get rid of Schmeichel wants shooting.
Also heard you were interested in Steve Simonsen as a replacement. Even though I'm not old enough I'd still happily drive him to Elland Road
put that down as another reason to shoot Bates
we've already got a fairly **** keeper as backup so no thanks AlastairRyan

No one has mentioned this so far, Craig Mackail-Smith to Brighton... Undisclosed Fee. Rejecting West Ham, QPR, Leicester, Birmingham and Wolves to join us. Praise the Poyet and Bloom!
We have been very quiet so far this summer with more outgoings rumoured than in, but Mowbray has set his eyes on Paraguayan winger Marcelo Estigarribia from Le Mans in Ligue 2 (Was on loan from them at Newells last season). Have to say that if Gibson/Mowbray pull this off it will be an unbelievable signing, I saw him in the Copa America and he is an absolutely explosive left winger with a final product on the end I can definitely see him coming in and bringing flare back to the Riverside.
We tried going Scottish/English but now they've realized that the good days came when we had South American flare in the team <3, glad to see we're going to the roots of the 90's/2000's. Think we could pick him up cheaply at around 1.5 million as well, hopefully Mowbray goes for him. And Mr Jenkins at Swansea came out today and said to SSN they still have a chance of signing Emnes and Lita from Boro...We wont let them go cheaply that is for sure, we will be willing to sell some players to reduce the wage bill but Gibson's still willing to do whatever it takes to get us back up and the crowds in plus we paid 3.5 million for Emnes 4 years ago and Litas pretty indispensable atm.

Estigarribia didn't have the best of seasons in the Clausura tournament, but then again his whole team was ****. However, he was very impressive last year, and if he can reproduce that form you may very well have a gem in your hands.
Peter Ridsdale has sent a text to a senior member of the Argyle Fans Trust, telling him not too worry and that the takeover will be agreed tomorrow. I won't be making to much noises until tomorrow, when its signed, but I can say- Plymouth Argyle FC refused to die and we will now reap our rewards.

Ashley Barnes.. What a joke. Hate the man with a passion, very very cocky. Good signing from Brighton with CMS, and Hoskins. Not sure if Hoskins will make that a good step-up to the Championship. We wait and see....
Don't worry Giggles, although you've lost God (Fallon), you've gained what could become your talisman, Liam Dickinson.
Dickinson is a better version of Rory Fallon. Dickinson can jump, head, make aerial challenges without giving a foul and amazingly... score!

His goalscoring record in League One and League Two is something like 1 in 3, compared to Fallon's 1 in 7. I also remember Dickinson, when at Blackpool, coming off the bench at Home Park to score twice and give Blackpool the win.

Peter Ridsdale is en route to sign the takeover agreement with the preferred bidders. This means we would take one large step closer to exiting administration, however the deal is still subject to Football League Approval. 'Fit and Proper Tests', the usual formalities; Lets hope they don't rub any salt in our wounds, get it done by the end of the this week. Though I can see it happening on the eve the new season...
The **** is almost over, but there's still one corner to turn yet...
