Well Mason's gone... To the club Ridsdale is taking to court... 2 Days after Mason said he';s looking foward to playing this season with Argyle.. For a pretty **** fee.

Now is time to use that 250k to pay the staff. No messing about Ridsdale, get it done.

Is it confirmed yet mate? Nothing down our end.

Apparently so.

Full respect to Joe. I sent him a message on Facebook generally saying Thanks for Everything and Goodluck at Cardiff. He sent back "Thank you. Come on u greens!". Only a short reply, but he was one of my favourite players, so glad he did reply. Such a great player, hope it all goes well for him.

Fair play, sounds a top lad, im sure Mackay can get great stuff out of him, granted he wasnt a first choice for me, but hopefully he does good

Hows Plymouth coping with Ridsdale?

Well-enough.

Apparently we will be starting the season in one of those kits, you get in a bundle from Sports World, in a plain green variation as our new kit won't arrive until September. Is it, or if we start the season in that, we really will feel the poor person in a rich-mans world.

How bigs your squad? Is it capable of promotion?

We don't even have 11, so some more to come in. Probably won't be any good, but hey, at this rate I'll be on bench for our first match.

We won't be anywhere near the top 10 this season, probably a Lower-Table finish- 17th or 18th is just fine for me. Just aslong as the staff are payed, the club survives and we aren't relegated... If we are relegated, that would be embarrasing. XD

Ouch, best of luck for the season

Thanks, same for you.

I think you will finally get promoted this season- Last season on PASOTI, we did a little thing on Jamie Mackie becoming Leading Championship Goalscorer for the season, after he moved to QPR from us and made a good start. Obviously that was ended with his broken leg, maybe we'll do the same for Joe Mason. I wouldn't bet against it ;)

Boyd's gone to Turkey.

1.5 million initial fee,

Boro have chucked 38k off our wage bill+ The players we released...

Hearing from the North East we have bid 2 million for Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield...

Not seen much of him, from what I saw Pilkington looks like the player we should be buying but Mogga knows what he's doing I suppose...

Interesting to see how Rhodes would do in the Championship, when we got rid everyone was saying 'well he was unproven at this level', well all his League 1 and 2 goals were a decent start so he was worth a go.

Confirmation Cardiff have signed Joe Mason from Plymouth, Mackay making a great start to his Cardiff life

Routledge.. hmm dunno if we will get him. Obviously i'd be over the moon if we did.

Zenden - yeah he might still have it, but probably only for one season. McKenna was our experienced head and he was good for one season only.

And Andy Reid is probably the first out and out winger we've had since he left, hopefully he'll be alright.

Just looking at the pictures on Argyle's Website of him signing his first apprentice deal in 2006, his debut in 2009 and his first goal about 2 months later. Our academy in the last 5-6 years has produced some very good players, the only problem we have is keeping them. In an idea situation, we would be able to hold onto Mason; Or ask for more cash. But hey, this 250k might pay the staff. I hope Joe doesn't sit on the bench, I hope he fires Cardiff into the Premier League...

At the moment mate, i hope he isnt on the bench Earnie and Mason up top and Parkin on the bench in my books, just depends on other Malky signings

Trialists Malaury Martin and Jurica Vranjes should discover their Boro fates early next week.

French midfielder Martin has been training with the club since the players reported back from their summer holidays on June 30.

Croatian Jurica Vranjes, also a midfielder, linked up with the Boro players on Thursday after his arrival was delayed.

Tony Mowbray was planning to see how they fared this weekend before deciding whether or not to take them on the pre-season trip to Slovenia.

The club fly out on Wednesday for a nine-day training camp which also includes three friendly matches.

Now Mowbray must decide the exact make-up of the travelling party before departure.

He said: “The Croatian arrived on Thursday, it didn’t quite pan out him coming in earlier.

“We’ll have a look at him over the weekend.

“The French lad has done well so far, we’ll be having an in-house 11 versus 11 over the weekend and probably make some decisions after seeing him play 11 versus 11 football and decide then what we think.

Vranjes would be a quality signing to sure up the midfield, Martin seems to have potential...

They would add to the already snapped up Dutchman Anouar Hadouir, Ishmael Miller is linked with a move as well but he is not the sort of player I want to see at the Riverside.

Didier Digard has done a U Turn and looks set to sign for Nice, also Boro are preparing to launch a raid for Rhodes/Ched Evans to bolster their strikeforce.

I know there's no Boro fans left out there but if there is, keep the faith.(A)

Getting Bowyer next week apparantly. Jewell stated he wasn't afraid to build a 'dad's army', and admitedly we're not in much of a position to pass over the chance to get anyone good, even if they're getting on a bit.

What did you make of Reggie Lambe when he was with you mate?

Only just seen that Harry Pell has moved to Hereford. Good signing for them! Good player and a very nice kid. Good luck to him!
