Karl Duguid= BIGGEST **** EVER (got my Southend Utd hat on) can't believe Paul Storruck actually thought about offering him a trial lol

Sturrock signed him for Argyle, probably explains why he would want him at Southend. He would be half-decent at L2 Level- Can play RB, RM or CM, so very versatile. Offer expierence to younger players and a future coach. He's not that bad ;)

Thats what Cardiff were like on both counts last season, we had the best squad and Dave Jones believed we had a divine right of promotion

Love whats happening at the moment, 5 fantastic free signings, 1 good youngster, hopefully 1 or 2 big signings to be announced in the week and a manager who shows PASHUN!!! Probably wont get promotion this season but if I see a team playing as a team and showing determination we will have advanced

Got to hand it to Malky, I wasn't sure he'd of been able to attrack big names to Cardiff after replacing Dave Jones but some of the players he has brought in, wow and all on a free as well is very impressive. Robbie Earnshaw I think will be key and I also like the young lad from Coventry, Arron Gunnarson.. both very good players at that level. Play-offs again I reckon.

Don't doubt it but just the fact is he ex Colchester Utd and things happened when he played against Southend, the fans would not take to him at all lol

I agree and think Leicester City will be champions and will be doing a LCFC game on FM12

Likewise mate, If Sven can keep that squad in check and on the right track then I believe they will be very hard to over come. Looking foward to doing a season with them on fm12 also lol

I despise West Ham because of them 2 jackass owners! The way they sacked Avram Grant was a disgrace! So i agree, i hope that they fail miserably at their attempt.

My problem with them isn't so much the club itself but the fans. I live in an area where A LOT of Hammers live and believe me, 10/10 for dulsion. The ones I know seem to think it's a straight "turn up and leave with 3 points" job when it isn't. The Championship as proven last year is the toughest English league in my opinion where out of the 24 teams in it, I'd say at least 18-20 could win it at the end. Going to be a very interesting season for sure.

Malaury Martin becomes Middlesbroughs first meaningful signing of the summer on a free transfer after his trial!

Vranjes got turned down due to him being a demanding SOB and asking us to pay him 35k a week...

Martin=Lost prospect?

Didn't get a game for Blackpool last season, can't understand why.

Drew 2-2 with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Not a bad result tbf

Good Post that, Earnie will be a hero this season, Gunnar is a solid CM, Taylor from Boro good at LB which has been our problem position for years that Jones could not get right

Highly linked to sign Bellamy again, Goodwillie and Eremenko? I think thats his name, id like to get Routledge back but with our premier league lot down the road i doubt it, also Wayne goes to whoever pays most, as Cardiff learnt the hard way last time, im feeling more confident now then i was a month ago

Got to agree with all that mate. Craig Bellamy is a fine player in the Premier League let alone the Championship like you know from last season, Malky would do well to get him back again though in my opinion what with Celtic being romoured interested. David Goodwillie would be a fine addition, good young striker with a lot of pace and strenght and could link up well with Earnie in my opinion.. not too sure about the lad Eremenko, I'm guessing the lad who was on load to Kilmarnock last season? haven't really seen a lot of him to be honest.

Yeah, concerned about Celtic interest, holding onto hope from the interview with Bells saying he wants to be back and Malky is one of his best friends so that should help

Rumours around here is that Goodwillie has agreed terms but our Malaysian investers want to wait for the court case result - next week i believe - before completing the move

I dont know much about Eremenko but heard hes a top player

Eremenko was, by all accounts, very impressive for Kilmarnock last season. Check the Scotland section, I think he was in a good lot of people's top 5 signings.

he was good scored nearly every week and was rumoured that the 2 Old Firm clubs wanted him

Sounds a good player, hes spoken to the press about our interest so seems it could happen

Yeovil have signed Anthony Edgar on a free transfer after he was released by West ham. He used to play for the same team as my mtes brother and Ive had a kick about with him before and from what Ive seen he is a pretty good player and could do well for Yeovil.

Anthony Elding playing in tonights friendly match against Bristol City, up front, as he's on trial. Also, Hitchcock, the soon to be loanee from Blackburn will play along with Berry & Williams making their debuts. Will be nice to be back at Home Park Tonight, especially with the news the FL won't accept Ridsdale/Heaney's offer.

Cardiff first pre-season fixture tonight against Charlton in Sevilla

giggles, argyle have taken hughs mason on trail, he's quite good i was unhappy that we released him, he has some serious skills and good movement!

Yeah, he scored a peach of a goal in the 1st half, to make it 1-1. He looked a very exciting player, someone to fill the boots of Yala Bolasie. Overall, a strong performance against a full-strength Bristol City side. The defence looked solid, Robbie Williams was excellent at LB, as was Durrell B at RB. The keeper, Coles, struggled abit- At fault for the first 2 Brizzle goals, but improved as the match went on. Fletch & Walton made a good pairing, but the front 2 were a bit idle. Everything lacked a killer pass in the final 3rd, but there is plenty of time to work on that. I was impressed- A good performance against a Championship side, more of the same please.

‪Cornish is‬‏ - YouTube - Zubar's coming back!!!! ^^) :D :) |)

An excellent defender, was great last season at the heart of our defence- And I'm glad he's set to stay, even though Preston & Millwall want him. You better watch out League 2 Strikers, because Zubar is hear to beast you. (H)

i now remeber we have some ex argyle players i think,Steven MacLean and Jim Patterson? you opinions?

MacLean is a cripple , was amazing for us in league one (swfc) but then got injured and never really 'done it' for anyone since.,
