i now remeber we have some ex argyle players i think,Steven MacLean and Jim Patterson? you opinions?

Paterson- Has a good delievery, a good player on the wing. Suspect at LB, alot better in an attacking role.

Maclean- ****, Overpayed, Useless.

if we could get maclean fit could he be an asset? that seems to be what yeovil specialize in did it to cohen, bowditch, huntigton etc

No, he won't be an assest. He'll never be an assest to anything or anyone. He will just be an overpayed, waste of space.

Can't wait for tommorow. The Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup with werder bremen and athletic bilbao :) and the new home kit will be on display for the first time!!!

maclean scored for us today! i reckon he could be decent...

He won't be decent. Never judge anybody or any team on frendlies, he is awful, and didn't do well in League 2 on loan at Oxford.

In more exciting news, tonight we host QPR in 'Le Testomonial' for Romain Larrieu's 10 years at the club. Romain has been a great keeper, and a loyal servant to the club. He's seen 2 League Titles, 2 Relegations, Many players, Many Managers and Testicular Cancer. I'm glad he's still here, and I'm glad we can celebrate his loyalty to the club. Romain, would be my future choice as manager, because he is a Pilgrim through and through. I will be going tonight, and I am looking foward to celebrating Romain's 10 years and gearing up for another challenge...

Lost to Celtic 1-0

OK performance, Whitts superb, Joe Mason excellent, Parkin is a poor excuse of a footballer

Lost 1-0 to QPR, but what a stunning performance and a great way to celebrate Romain Larrieu's 10 years at the club.

Once again, we outclassed a full-strength, higher opposition side- The LW Trialist and Luke Daley were very impressive, and Zubar & Fletcher are just to good for League 2, but I'm not moaning. The man of the day has to be our superb Romain Larrieu, make some great stops, and unlucky to concede at the death. What a great man, what a great keeper, what a person to represent our football club.

We all dream of a team of Larrieu's....

Happy with Michael Brown signing, got 3 wins out of 3 in pre season which is encouraging. At the match last night we had Jlloyd Samuel and Isaih Osbourne on trial and a third unamed trialist. Think the 2 named players would be good free signings for Championship and the unamed player had a good game too apparently

Give Jlloyd a curfew, likes to go clubbing until 3am night before a match

Nice to see the Football League worrying about the financial issues and problems, in its 3 leagues... <). Oh well, at least we will be able to have a full subs bench this season.

No part of 7-5 subs is good, it encourages clubs to step some youngsters up to get at least matchday experience of the warmups etc. Madness rescinding that regulation, the extra 2 sub spots were 9/10 taken by youngsters anyway so what is the FL idea here?

Discourage brining youngsters through?

Max ehmer is back for 6 months amazing signing! our defence is now rock hard really,

CB's Huntington(ex prem remember, lus won a fair few team of the week awards) Ehmer(absolute quality, is only improving QPR must rate him as they gave him a new deal) and n'gala(not too sure about him looks rather unintelligent on the feild but has a good head and a strong tackle) Ayling(at rwb, a true gunner, looks very assured on the ball does not lack confidence, a young player of the year at YTFC) all we need now is a goalie heard a lot about david button, what was he like at plymouth last year?

I admired Button. His kicking was alot better than Larrieu's, and he made some good saves. He was alot better than our previous on-loan keeper, Stockdale in my opinion. Nice player for League One, he learnt alot off Larrieu.
