End of Season Review

Plymouth are in the Premiership for the 1st time in there history. More history will be made next year as the most southern and Western side in the Premier Division history!

Huge changes at the big teams Louis Ban Gaal did the double with Chelsea then retired, Liverpool sack Breanda Rodgers replacing him with might Salzburg coach Adi Hutter.
David Norris retired from playing and joined the u18 coaching team.

Our midfield shot us up to the Premiership with Bressan being the buy of the year & Rog doing well if not living up to last years hype. Chico's late season arrival helped close the door at the back and guided our defensive improvement in the latter months.

Chelsea dominated the league with only Man City keeping in touch. Arsenal beat Real Madrid at Wembley to secure 5 English teams in the Champions League once again. Stoke Burnley & Norwich are relegated while Newcastle only survived on goal difference.

Championship

Cardiff led the way all season and were deserved winners. Reading grabbed the points at the end to beat out Wolves. At the other end Wigan finished bottom and take Yeovil & Leyton Orient go down with them.

Season 5 Preview

2018/19

Pre Season
Lots of job changes after the world cup
Everton hire Glenn Hoddle, Man City take Evertons Marcelo Bielsa and West Ham bring in Roberto Martinez back to football.
Portugal beat Brazil in the World Cup final

Targets
Premiership -Avoid Relegation
FA, League Cup - Beat all lower league teams

Only focused on one thing this year and that is staying in the top flight. We need the cash from next season to start putting together a youth side which i had to abandon to get a 1st team together.

Transfers

2 Players from last years team were bought up by Premiership sides. West Brom bought Sergey Politevic and Marseille bought my star midfielder Zan Benedicic for £7m. Phil Mahony cased nothing but hassle so i sold him to Watford while Sidwell, Bullock & Fosu are not up to this level.

Starting team
View attachment 286395
Herrera, Lovern & Bellerin all jump right into the team. Celik will have a shot at leading the front line.

Man Utd spend to pick up two top kids Zivkovic & Harry Kane. Plymouth do nothing as the wage budget is maxed out!

Brilliant signing of Herrera! And what a start to the Premier League! Good luck! Make your home ground a fortress!

September

As i say in the Arsenal game this was a wake up call! 4 games 4 defeats. Stumble out of the League cup as the first wave of injurys see the goals dry up

New signing

Raul Garcia AM

My favorite signing from a Spanish save a few years ago. Scored lots of goals an was the best of the Atletico Players from that save. 32 now but required to do a job

Look at the table and we've flipped it to look at the top half now! 14 points clear of relegation another 3 points would take us over the amount of points needed to survive in the last 3 seasons. Another 8 goals in 4 games for Ciro Immobile before injury puts Immobile clear top of the golden boot.

Great First season so far! I thought a relatively small club would not hold up this well in the prem, especially on this considerably harder 2015 game. Collins is an incredible gem, thanks to him might even push Europa League this season at a stretch, couldn't have even dreamed that at the beginning of the season. Keep up the good work! COME ON YOU GREEEENNS!

I too would have been happy just to stay up, Squad was built with the high earners having relegation clauses so that if we did go down we would have a great young squad to challenge right away without the burden of huge wages.

I think FM2015 a harder game in fact i think its MUCH easier than last year and one of the easiest in years.

January

Busiest January ever at Plymouth as we play a game of Bargain hunt.
Liverpool put us out of the Cup but our amazing League run goes on

Fixtures

FA Cup 3rd Round
Wycombe 1-3 Plymouth

Liverpool 3-0 Plymouth

Premiership

This is as close to the Champions League as were going to get. We have a impossible run in the next 2 months so would expect our challenge to fall away. But for now were 6th and challenging the established teams for a European spot. Were 10 points off Man City & Chelsea at the top but we cant rule out any of the top 5 yet. Watford are the leagues top goal scorers 6 goals in 3 games for Immobile. Best £5m Watford will ever spend!

Transfer Window
Manchester teams still dominate the spending but Plymouth make a few appearances.

One for the future. Got the highest rating from our scouts loaned him back as part of the deal but will be my starting Left Back next season

Marcelinho -DR

With Ross Rideout taking longer to develop into a starter than i hoped the Brazilian left back comes in as a insurance policy as Bellerin went back to Arsenal.

Lucas - DC

seriously in Atletico's C team and going for £200k! I'll turn that around and make a 10 fold profit off him at least!

Sinan Kurt - AM
View attachment 285414
Adding some more youth to my deepest position. Were quite strong and i was expecting to loose one of my current midfielders by deadline so for just over £1m will be another player i expect to make profit off.

Dean Freeman - AT
View attachment 285413
A long term project but comfortably the best English 16 year old forward going

Out
Jesper Nillson
Only one player leaves and it was a man who had been a brick for us. Ave Rating of 7.52 but i kept my promise of selling him if a Champions League team bid a huge amount and a total of £14m & Future fee's is a mega deal we couldnt turn down.

In some ways, alot more random poor results and shocks against poorer teams, alot more than previous editions in my opinion, You seem to have been quite lucky on that front, underdogs usually do well within reason.

Only just seen this but Plymouth in the Premiership! wow! brilliant work mate, keep it up

brilliant first season so far, and i agree this years fm seems easier.

February

3 points in a month would usually be a disaster or poor at least but with the teams we had and the trios we made i'll take it and be happy
Two impressive draws with Arsenal & Liverpool

Fixtures

Tottenham 6-2 Plymouth

Raul Garcia
Were solid enough till Verza got sent off right on half time then in the 2nd half we fell apart

Plymouth 1-1 Arsenal
