Speaking purely from a L'pool perspective, I can't think of anything much more embarrassing than Everton and City, of ALL clubs, rubbing salt into a wound L'pool should NEVER have opened.

FSG couldn't have got this more wrong if they tried and now risk undoing all their good work and losing the trust and respect of the people in the City all over again through one terribly ill-advised decision.

I still honestly can’t believe it mate. Obviously not a Pool fan by any stretch but can’t deny the admiration of how you have done things as a club over the last few years. But it’s all just getting blown out the water ??‍♂️

Scandolous and inexcusable. To be polite.

Even if they do a u-turn through the PR carnage, the damage has been done and mud invariably sticks.

There are certain clubs you expect better from, Liverpool is one of them. I really can't get my head around it. You look at the leadership and stance Klopp has taken, and Henderson, and this is in such stark contrast. Haven't seen the Liverpool fanbase riled up in a very long time, and you can't blame them. A club as socialist as Liverpool, FSG have underestimated just how badly this would look

Some things never change, I guess. Regular blokes like us are told to rally around the flag and do our civic duty while the rich ******** profit on the crisis.

In USA there are also problems that government is issuing money packages to big corporations who dont need it. Some companies even dont pay taxes to USA but still want piece of the pie.

Any ideas how will this current pandemic will change transfer prices? Considering there is severe loss of cash clubs want to max out on player prices but noone will pay it up so the prices must go down to some degree. The economic effect will be felt a bit later more than now.

Same as always tbh. If there's demand for something in deficit, prices will go up and vice versa. I don't expect anything drastic.

What you will see is those who have money will try to push prices down to get bargains whilst those with saleable assets but little money will continue to demand high prices especially when they know the buyer has cash. Ultimately however, the prices will drop as the have nots will become evermore desperate whilst the clubs who aren't as badly off will play a waiting game. The longer the situation goes on the more in favour of the buying clubs the market will become.

UEFA should just supsend the the summer window entirely, it's absurd to have it in a first place given what's going on.

I love your optimism that they'll even be transfers any time soon to talk of.

It'll be a brave club to splash big money in these unprecedented economic times. (Or the one who starts buying, to begin with even.). A very brave club indeed.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to pass on my condolences at Norman Hunter's sad passing.

As much as I don't like Leeds, it was a sad morning today reading that. Not only one of the best defenders England's ever produced, and a proper hardman, he was also one of the true gentlemen of the game. Humble, utterly respectful to all and by all accounts a genuinely nice guy.

God rest.

Sad news indeed. RIP
Reading that Covid also affects people after getting over it. Specialy breathing and lungs, scary to think that athletes who had Covid will be in danger later years also maybe.

Out of curiosity, why exactly you dont like Leeds?

Aside from the long-standing rivalry, it's not the club so much as the support.

Just a horrible gang of lads (the support) who still revel in being absolute ____heads.
