It is very strange position now. Both we and Burnely are in good form, they still have their manager bounce. We can only hope it will go down for end of season. We have gotten 11 of the possible 18 points from the last six games and our only loss was top of the team City. Everton has sadly gotten full points from Manchester United and Chelsea for crying out loud...
AVL will be deciding for Burnely. Crazy that they still yet played them and will have 2 games against them so end of the season.
For us the next two games will be difficult as Arsenal is still fighting for top4 place and Chelsea is not far. Huge loss is Dallas who is out probably until end of the year. But luckily Kalvin is back the last games and looks lively. I am just so sad that our season is so ridled with injuries. We should be already clear of the relegation battle.

The other downside for Leeds from Tommy Tuckers career standard, late season collapse laughably continuing at Everton yesterday, is the humongous fraud now has to play a strong side at Leeds in all likelihood as their top 4 grip got loosened further. (An ironic benefit for L’pool as that game is 3 days before the Cup Final so hopefully you run them ragged and kick lumps out of them. 😛.).

I didn’t realise Burnley still has Villa twice. Thats great for them as Villa are both on their holidays. And Gerrard has been found out to what most Rangers watchers knew. He’s not a very good manager who plays a very dour brand of boring, pragmatic football. This romantic notion that he’ll aid L’pool at City the final day just isn’t happening.

One thongs for sure, Sky will be creaming themselves. They have the best ever last day in history setting up with the title, Eurooean places and final relegation slot all on the line.

All the best to yourselves and Burnley!

Will be very very tight scheduling and games for some teams. I mean, i love that end of season is interesting at both ends, just sad our team is on the downs side :D I have not been very footy loving this season, Feb incident crushed lot of interest of other things for long time. Last month i have been again on football flow.

Also concerned on Leeds future. IF we manage to be in PL i am sure Radz will sell to USA owners and i am afraid what wicked plans they will have for the clubs to "modernize" the club to USA type of... But if we are relegated it is good indication that Radz was too easy in summer for hoping big paycheck when staying alive in most competitive league and Orta has not done good job. Relegation would but Radz and 49ers into very strange place as Kalvin and Raph would sure look going away, but need big investment to push back up again.

I would not count Villa down that easy. They have good enough defence to even drawing two games, this would still benefit us. But yeah, considering talent that Villa has Gerrard has been below average i would have expected.
Everton also has very tight schedule with 3 of them being away games and two at home.

Unless they F it up themselves, which is distinctly possible, Everton will probably get a helping hand in one of those aways from Rodgers when they play Leicester.

Said it before, Anfield aside, there’s nowhere in Britain like Ibrox on a big European night. Absolutely bouncing. Literally!

Perfect half that. Massive 45 minutes hard graft to go.

Not everyone has the mentality for Europe-

Yeah it's weird, his teams are so good at grinding points twice a week, but cup ties are almost a different sport.

Random- Good luck to Sunderland this evening. Always had a soft spot for them.

WAY too big a club to be in the third tier.

Unless its Europe.

Or any of the domestic cups.

But always Europe.
The difference between cup and league is that league winner is usually determined by the club who has been most consistent and have the widest bench.
But the cup games, those are magic. Any given club can win over just 2 games if everything plays correctly for them. In knockout phase, there's little margin for error, and its beautiful.

In any other Country I’d agree wholeheartedly on the league assertion. But right now, in this era here with the madness these two clubs are doing, it’s just a stroke of luck here and there. I don’t know who will win the PL but to finish second on what will probably be 92 points, to go along with the same on 97 ….. not much more you can do about that.

You tio your hat to the opposition by a smigen better but it just boils down to a bounce of the ball here and there when theres next to nothing splitting these two.

Knock-out CL football though ….. ‘beautiful’ is the word. You can’t top that. As much as the UEFA mafia get greedier and greedier and try there best to spoil it.

*That said, I din’t think anything can top the excitement for the Cup Final Saturday. Paris to come or even a last day league win included.

But I grew up with the FA Cup being the biggest prize of all so yanno’. Shrugs.
