Ok this thread is for general premiership discussion and is also an easy way to find a link to your own clubs designated thread. All Permiership supporters can comment on this thread.
Over the next few weeks im sure more threads will be started and will be added to this list.
When looking at a team thread please read all of the op. Opposition fans are welcome to post constructive arguments but please dont say their team is **** and start arguing as you will be infracted.
Enjoy guys.

Topics:
  1. Fixtures and results (your opinions)
  2. Transfer rumours
  3. Team news
  4. Post match opinions
  5. Injury worries

Also if anybody requests a Club thread i will gladly make it for them if they cant be bothered to put the effort in. Also if you make a Club thread inform me and i will add it to the list.

As Ride The Walrus said this is just for posts that dont necessarily deserve their own thread and to highlight the day/week news in one place and not have to look all around the forum for the news in the premiership.
It is similar in a lot of ways to the Football League Thread and it also has links to all the designated club threads.

Pepe Reina's had an interview, 'Pepe Reina claims he has a point to prove next season - and that many of his teammates feel the same way.' Which in it basically he says he's going to stay, without putting it in words, and that he wants to be in football after he retires.

Well if Reina has a point to prove, rather it wasn't in next merseyside derby :p
But imo he is a great goalie and has been top notch for LFC

I wish he'd just come out & state unequivocally that he's staying is all.

Is there any point having the bbc bot anymore?

In fairness the BBC bot has most of its posts closed straight away now so people can report all news here and comment on it

This guy has everything to say about anything & is never shy in saying it & the sports media lap it up like so much mother's milk. More mind games. The Premiership is all she wrote - we all know it - so why doesn't he just give it a rest ?

Do you know what reporter asked him? Maybe he was asked what he thinks about League title race? What is wrong in giving his opinions.

Glad that Stoke have Europa next season. Will be interesting to see how cultured teams deal with their physical game.

thoughts on this?

The Premier League considered bringing in a play-off for the fourth UEFA Champions League place, their chief Richard Scudamore has confirmed.
Scudamore

admitted that clubs had discussed the possibility of a play-off involving the clubs who finish fourth to seventh in the league, with the winner claiming the final spot in the Champions League.
It is reported that a number of sides were keen on the idea - but leading clubs such as Manchester United,

Chelsea

and Arsenal

were against the plan.

One area of concern was thought to be the possible clash with the FA Cup final and Champions League final itself.
"We had a look at it," Premier League chief executive Scudamore told the Daily Telegraph.

"There was some interest but ultimately it was felt to stick with [the current system]."
If the Premier League did want to bring in a play-off then it would have to wait until 2013 at the earliest due to the current agreements over television rights.

Hmm...i really dont know, seems a bit unfair for whoever finishes 4th. I really think the top 4 should go through. We want to send the most consistent teams to the CL and thats obviously the top 4 teams in a season.

What do you think Calum?
