Spurs being spurs. Surely you had all this time after firing Mourinho to make up your mind and pick your main target. Going through a shortlist might work for players but a manager its a sticky one.

Next, at this rate I'll be offered the job! Mind you I would probably turn them down, leaving them with a choice between Big Sam, Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes or some bloke who manages the local pub team...

Barça assembly approves a €525m loan to help club move forward. Will go towards making payments for past transfers, wages etc but Laporta says won't be used for new signings. It's a 15-year loan with three percent interest
 
Not that it matters to them being backed by an entire state and all, but just in case there was any doubt City do indeed have more money than sense-
