It takes a 17 year old at the very start of his career to put so many older professionals who have hidden (and still hide) their true selves in to perpective. Hopefully the football community can accept him for what he is and not fall back on the fake macho image which hounded Fashanu throughout his career (even before he came out as gay), and causes so many to live a lie. It takes courage to come out at the best of times but to do so knowing that he will become a target for all the bigots in the crowd (not just rival fans either) and within the game proves that he is confident in his own self. Fair play to him for coming out to live his life the way he wants and gooc luck for the future.
Hmm interesting, very close to go watch. How hard is it to get tickets for Super Cup?AlthoughI I don’t particularly want to spend time in Helsinki with either of them, come on the Rangers this evening. Bring it home boys and P all over the other mobs title!
