Ive done a few Liverpool saves on previous football manager and this is by far the worst team, certainly proving to be a challenge

Cheers! I went and signed him at the end of the first season anyway. I searched him, scouted him for half a season, he's not as good as your screenshot, but theres definitely room to improve looking at that. Thank you! Just out of curiosity, how do you play him? As a LD or a BPD? Cheers.
 
Generally play him as a Limited (Stopper) or Central Defender (Defend). This is him at the beginning of the 4th season so may take abit of time.
 
Im having to rotate my centre halves, due to having maybe 6/7 of them. But my main problem seems to be scoring goals. Had far too many 0-0 draws in my current (2nd) season with them, iv gone from extreme to extreme in that respect. First season conceded 50 odd goals, scored 90 odd. This season conceded 8, scored bout 10 in the league.

I don't score that many goals either, I think that it is down to lack of strikers

I think i have the opposite problem. Score loads but concede loads at the same time. My team in season 4 is currently:

GK: Jason Steele / Alex Smithies / Simon Mignolet
RB: Sebastien Corchia / Nathaniel Clyne (Corchia was a free signing :))
CB: Joleon Lescott, Guiseppe Beelusci, Alberto Botia, Dedryk Boyata
LB: Neal Taylor
CM (DLP): Keisuke Honda / Ruben Yttergaard Jenssen
CM (CM): Jonjo Shelvey / Will Hughes
AMR: Aaron Lennon
AML: Adam Johnson / Karim Ait Fana
ST (DLF): Steven Fletcher / Lacina Traore
ST (P): Alberto Paloschi

Somtimes ill move one of my strikers to AMC and i have a quality dutch regen called Jan Liefden who i paid 2.9m for at the age of 15. Also got James Ward Prowse to play CM (signed on a free) but out on loan currently.

So we missed out on the Champions League but i managed to secure Europa League football for next season.

Overall, a see that shouldn't be grumbled at. Well played. Just gotta kick on next season, where I was struggling before my save corrupted sadly :(. Ricky V Wolfswinkle looks like a good signing over the course of the season, and is one to look out for.

He had a really bad start but he's really kicked in the second half of the season
 
He's on of the names in the hat as a potential transfer on my new one, since my last one wouldnt let me load it. Thinking about developing yesil properly this time too, aswel as selling lucas

Lucas is waste of time, he's just constantly injured
 
He doesnt do too bad on my saves, id keep him if i didnt need the money but i can get 25-30 million for him. So just sell him, buy fernando from gremio for 6 million (release clause) and iv got a ready made replacement, and 20 million profit. Easy!
 
6th is decent considering how much Liverpool has gone backwards.

Look forward to seeing the next update and what transfers you manage to make.

Let my director of football take care of the dealings, i gave him a list of players and hes got most of them may have overpaid a little but its worth it
