Alex Chaimberlane is not going anywhere. He has said so himself, and he has said he is fired up for the Man Utd game, which is a few days before the window shuts. He is not moving. I expect him to be another Le Tiss tbh, and stay with us for a very long time (maybe forever like Tiss?) :)

Just because players say they want to stay, doesn't mean they will, Commons has said he wants to stay at every club he's been at, and still moved, if the club want the money, the player will go.

Why stay at Southampton when you could go and shoot for the starts at Arsenal.

Cisse in line for move to Aston Villa. Main factors are not being paid for 4 weeks, and missing his family back in the UK

Does anyone else think this guy has been way over-hyped? I think he will end up like Miguel Veloso or Joao Moutinho i.e. the respective club sets a hefty price on the player's head initially but then no one is willing to pay that much and the no. of suitors decreases forcing the club to eventually sell for a much lower price than they had originally set. Besides, I saw Luiz absolutely destroyed by Hulk in the Porto-Benfica game earlier this season. I don't think he is world-class, I mean he is good but not 30M-good.

From the Italian website Calciomercato, which itself quotes an interview with the player in SIC (?).

http://www.calciomercato.com/mercato...verpool-588504

Anyway, it basically translates as:

In an interview with SIC, Fabio Coentrao talked about his future (saying): "I like Liverpool a lot, but who wouldn't want to be coached by Mourinho?"

What's the latest with him joining Real?

I know this is not much to go on, and know nothing about the credibility of the source, but on a day that we've been linked to Steven Warnock then I thought it might provide a little relief that someone decent still actually finds us an appealing club.

Romelu Lukaku

Belgian press (Le Soir) reports that Liverpool will make £22m offer for young striker next week.

Apparently Stephen Warnock is close to a loan move to Liverpool. Houllier wants rid

On 11 April 2009, before Blackburn Rovers' match against Warnock's former club Liverpool, Stephen presented a flower display displaying the numbers '96' in reference to the 96 Liverpool supporters who lost their lives in the Hillsborough Disaster on the 15 April 1989. Before the kick off Warnock presented the flowers in front of famous Spion Kop on behalf of Blackburn Rovers. This was greeted with chants of 'Stephen Warnock' from the Kop and a minute silence took place shortly afterward.

Whatever means Konchesky won't play.

We Villans can't decide whether that's a bag of bollocks or actually a pretty realistic idea. Warnock's been terrible recently, but he has some quality.

For me Warnock is England's second best LB, Thats a good transfer for Liverpool but I wouldnt of sold him in the first place.

Warnock's a legend here. His quality was undeniable, but his fitness was poor, and was always second choice. Times are hard, he seems to now have better fitness, hope it's true.

I hope he moves to Liverpool I really like him.......He should be in England's squad 24/7...... Off topic this is my 3,000 POST woopeee :)

Baines as second-best all the way, IMO, with Gibbs battling with Warnock for third.

Aye, but be warned. He is far, far better at attacking than he is at defending. Less of a problem for you lot, with your attack-minded fullbacks and inside forwards, but not great for us even if Downing is good at tracking back...
