This was an evening of massive frustration. Were 3-0 up after 15 minutes and surely a lot more goals must follow, but they didn't so it went to Extra Time. 2 minutes in And Kone have Lyon effectively a 2 goal lead. We immediately equalized with a Phil Jones header but when that was disallowed our dreams were over and Van Persie's 104th minute goal gave us hope but we wasted too many chances before this and deserved to go out.

A 3rd year in Manchester was certainly not in the plan. Got 1 player in mind for the summer so will buy him, sew up important contracts and sell of the useless reserves and try rush into 2014/15

The whole left wing has been changed. Neymar and myself fell out at the end of last season and Kagawa did better than any player I've played in that position so he's my new left winger. Striker postiion also up for grabs after Van Persie's pathertic 8 goal haul in the league last year. Leighton Baines was my only summer target despite our poor season last year im changing my approach a bit to try and secure a league title as well as finally getting a champions league
