Fans' Player of the Season

An absolute landslide and rightfully so. Tom has come into the club and made a massive difference, winning the Golden Boot in the league and helping us to the top of the table.

Signing of the Season

See above really. It's hard to believe that we managed to get him on a free transfer. Keeping hold of him is my no 1 priority this summer.

Young Player of the Season

A clean sweep for Tom. Well deserved.

Congrats on a great first season mate! Glad Tom did well for you! Was surprised that considering you scored the most goals in the league that none of your players featured in the top assists table

In terms of this list, everything has gone to plan bar one player who is playing hard ball when it comes to renewing his contract. That man is....Tom Heardman. The rest have all signed new deals but Tom won't budge.

What that means is that our squad currently looks like this:

Mitch Duggan
Zac Corbett

Midfielders

Tom Warren
Ross Finnie
Callum Harris

What's Tom asking for or is he just not interested? He can defo play at a higher level but you can also get to a higher level. There's no gratitude in football anymore

With seven new faces starting, I wasn't really expecting much from our opener away at Farsley. They took a deserved lead but we battled back in the second half to get a point, which I'm more than happy with. The match stats suggest there is more to come from this side.

Usually, I'd give credit to the lads and talk about their performance but this one is on me and my tactical decisions. In our usual 4-2-2-2 formation, Boston were all over us as we couldn't get anything to stick up top. I decided to take off a midfielder and bring on a third striker and we managed to break the deadlock. 11 minutes later, I brought on a defender and we switched to 5 at the back, managing to grind out the result. I'm over the moon with that one.

Well, it had to come to an end at some point right? We were beaten by the better side on the day, no complaints.

This is a bit better than the Torquay offer with Cheltenham sitting in 20th place in League Two. I've decided to attend and see what happens.

A hat-trick from the most unlikely source. I've never seen anything like it! That aside, it was a good response from losing for the first time this season.

Jesus Christ! We took Southport to the cleaners to progress to the FA Cup 1st Round. What a result that is. A new club record if I'm not mistaken.

A routine win really. I would have liked us to score more given the number of shots we had but the three points in the bag are the main thing.

We huffed and puffed before eventually getting the breakthrough with just a minute to go. I think relief would be the word I would use for that result!

Stellar job my man! Obviously getting noticed with the recent job offers and nice to see you turn the offer down. 8 points clear with a game in hand and confidence throughout the team! KIU

A deserved win but I don't like the way we conceded two goals to give them a way back into the game. We took our foot off the gas and it almost cost us dearly.

A massive result that takes us into the 2nd round. The lads really put a shift in. The only real negative from the game was the fact that I had to sub off substitute Josh Hosie because he was in danger of getting sent off. I'll be having a quiet word with him for sure.

Not much to say about this game. It was a fairly routine win where we played well and didn't give the opposition a sniff. Job done.

The FA Cup journey is over for another year but massive credit to the lads who pushed the League Two leaders all the way, holding them at bay for 80 minutes. I'm proud of their performance and think it's unfair to be negative about that result.

Absolutely smashing it mate. Good to see they rewarded you with a new contract. Wonder how many more interviews you'll be offered over between now and the summer!
