TODs TRANSFER CENTRE

Wouldn't be so sure, they've been wank the entire year, the worst point tally in 10 years when they lost the title to Dortmund.
And still won by 8 points despite being wank. Be interesting to see how they cope without Lewa. But the 3 signings so far are class.

Bayern walking the league again next season then.

NIEUWS: dinsdag keuring @RGravenberch bij Bayern. Club al akkoord met #Ajax over transfersom van maximaal 24,5 miljoen euro. NEWS: Tuesday @RGravenberch medical at Bayern. Club already agreed with #Ajax on transfer fee of up to 24,5 million euro.
So Gravenberch is quoted at 24m euros, while Timber is quoted at 50m. ****, Manchester United tax is strong here.

Timber won’t cost that much but will be more anyway due to contract lengths. Timber will likely be about 30-35 max

#mufc have opened talks with Ajax over the potential signing of Jurriën Timber. Ajax will not sell the player cheaply however, and it is thought that a fee of up to 43m could be required to sign Timber. [@hirstclass]

Andreas Pereira's agent Giuliano Bertolucci: “It's over [at Flamengo]. [He will] go to Europe he has many offers.” #MUFC [@venecasagrande]

Yeah, and those 43m are in pounds. And he has 2 years left.
It will be 43m euros. British press always convert to pounds. Dutch media are saying around 38-43m euros. And 2 years still puts Ajax in a stronger position. As Gravenberch would risk losing for free next Summer hence the **** take of a free from Bayern for him and the FB they just signed also from Ajax.

If any other club was in for Timber, it would be 10-15m less. Just because they know ETH is bent on him gives them a strong position.

If Timber moves for more than 30m pounds I'll be amazed. Heck, if United were smart, they would work on multiple targets.
We are. In all positions. Torres is the back up to Timber. Timber will defo be around the 30m£ mark he’s an outstanding ball playing CB with huge potential has had a great season and can play RB also. And Ajax don’t want to sell. Our relationship with Ajax and EVS and Timber willing to join and work with EtH should see us get this done fairly quickly. It’s just a case of trying to be respectful to Ajax and keeping a good relationship for future deals. (but won’t kick up a fuss)

Good for you. If he's going to play RB, great. But CB is slightly different, his height might be a problem. Though Alaba isnt much taller and isnt really athletic, and he's doing just fine.

He will be playing CB. And this season he’s got better serial dual success than Diaz who is 6,3 so I think he’s obviously good in the air and must have a good leap for a short CB. He’s also scored more goals from corners than Diaz. And a better pass %.

Dias from City or some other Diaz? If its Dias, he has more duels won per match in much better league.

Diaz from City and I was looking across the season as a whole. Tougher league or not. Still suggest he’s good in the air especially considering his height, which would be an issue but all our other CBS are 6ft and above I believe.

You have to factor in the way EtH wants to play. He won’t want us camped in our half/box giving the oppo chance to pump balls into the box anyway. He wants to play a high line possession based football with the CBS starting the phases. Timber ball playing skills and pace will be much more needed.
