December.

December is the month i was most looking forward too and have always, i feel December is the month the makes or breaks teams seasons and managers.
December also is the month when i usually identify Januarys targets.
The month kicked off with a trip to Holland to play Steve McLarens Fc Twente, and i wanted revenge for the point they stole from us at Parkhead.

Scrappy win, still though it books our place in the last 32 of the comp also keeps us gunning at 1st place, last and final game of the groups is against Zenit at Paradise.
Next Aberdeen at home was expecting an easy win, boy was i wrong.

Celtic 0 - 1 Aberdeen
Worst performance of the season and i reacted very, very angrly they know if they ever peform so bad infront of 55, 000 Celtic fans i'll sell them quicker than you can say snap.

Next Motherwell away and after our lead was reduced to 5points we knew this was a must win.

Motherwell 1 - 3 Celtic (Sergi 3)
Lack of strikers goals in last two games are now starting to worry me, Scott Brown at the moment is garbage.

Zenit at home next, i wanted a win to secure first place!

Celtic 1 (Brown) - 1 Zenit
This game was won from the 5th minute, until a Boruc howler in the 84th min. Dissapointing finish to groups and finished 2nd still though i'll settle for last 32.

Hearts away next, a must win to try to get our winning run back.

Team at the moment have their heads down, starting to wonder if Browns poor performances are rubbing off on side.

I gave the team Xmas eve off, told them to enjoy xmas and they all chipped in a bought me a... razor, as i'd started to grow a little stubble.
Xmas day was spent with my son, he was the only family i really had left most my family had moved abroad or back to Ireland, so this was a pretty lonely xmas but still Jason (my boy) seemed to enjoy every moment of it, giving me the lift i needed.

Celtic 2 (Canning O.G. Keane) - 0 Hamilton
realised the harsh reality of the game today, if not for a O.G. we wouldn't have won, also our goalscorer has a value of 12mil and he's only on loan, god help us.

Game of the season, loved it start to finish, brillant game for all, sept two pissy goals we can't defend at all it's now very worrying.

Now away from the football we have drawn the following in Europa League;

Ending on a angry note, Dermot Desomnd's lacky.. (Lawell) has begged for money and got 1.9mil, wonder how the **** i'm gonna get a new decent defender, 10 mil for Brown perhaps is looking good, anyone got any idea's for Defenders? (K)
Hope yous are enjoying this thanks everybudy for your kind comments .

Not sure who you could get for that kind of cash mate will have a think and get back to you.

good so far, enjoying it! liked your reply to Calderwood, "not as rubbish as your tan" LOL quality!

January.

January was going to be vital for our league and Europa League hopes, we had a poor poor defence.

The month began with the visit of Rangers.
Celtic 2 (Sergi, Fortune)- 2 Rangers (Broadfoot, Weir)
conceded two corners very dissapointing again, the team are really frustrating me now.
We needed a knew Centre back so i moved swiftly and got Sergiy Kryvtov.
Also a day later i signed Michael Johnson on loan till the end of the season, he'll make good back up.
Next Livingstone in the Scottish cup, rang the changes in hope for decent win.
Livingstone 0 - 6 Celtic (Verrati 2, Crosas, Zheng Zhi, Rasmussen, McGeady)
Decent win, enjoyable keeps trebele close by |).

Falkirk at home now, another easyish win was required.
Celtic 4(Brown2, Loovens, Samaras) - 1 Falkrik
It'll do, could have been better.

Next day i reached a 4 million pounds agreement for Shaun Maloney to Villareal.

Next St Johnstone away, we beat them 6-0 last time and i wanted a repeat of the feat!
St Johnstone 1 - 4 Celtic(Keane3, McGeady)
Could have been better, but it'll do, Kryvtov is doing good.

Scottish League cup semi final against Motherwell at Hampden park, i was very, very nervous before this one, standing thinking of the prospect of getting to the final and winning this trophy.

Celtic 2(Keane, Brown) - 0 Motherwell
Finalists! We celebrated long into the night fantastic night for the boys and me as a manager, now though we had to focus on saturday Hamilton away, but still the boys did good.

Hamilton 0 - 2 Celtic (Brown, Verrati)
Scott Brown's on fire, he's truely awesome at the moment!

On the final day of the transfer window i signed Dundee Utd youngster David Goodwille, thought he'd add a new edge to the sqaud <).

Finally to end this month off, i was finally NOT manager of the month!
Still though not sure how strong the sqaud is for dealing with Europa League :O.
Febuary update to follow later tonight .

Well done so far mate - keep it up ;) And if you're still after a defender, try Nicolas Otamendi from Velez (H) :)

Febuary.

Febuary was going to be a long and hopefully successful month, the boys had alot of important games coming up, including Europa League.

The month kicked off with a vist of Hibs.
Celtic 2(Keane, Ki) - Hibs 2
diddn't deserve to win, Hibs were better in all honesty but it diddn't really bother me, the leagues as good as won already.

Next tyncastle to play Hearts for a place in the Scottish cup semi-finals.
Hearts 1 - 1 Celtic (Brown)
94th minute equaliser keeps our treble hopes intact, not a good week though went through the boys after the match.

Next was the replay against Hearts, the last thing we needed as we had already played 39 competitive games, the boys fitness could be called into question.

Celtic 5 (Veratti, Keane, Brown, Sergi, McGowan O.G.)- 0 Hearts
Last week has been put behind us, now to get back to winning ways.

Aberdeen 1 - 2 Celtic (Rasmussen, Goodwillie)
Nice to see Goodwillie grab his first Hoops goal in a easy enough game.

Next the big one, Athletic at home in the Europa League last 32.
Celtic 2(McGeady, Samaras) - 0 Athletic.
Good lead to take into second leg, hopefully last 16 is within reach.

Dundee United at home now, a real test.
Celtic 1(Lewandowski) - 0 Dundee United 0
****** and grab, it'll do me though!

After the match i recived a phone call from the Ivory Coast FA, offering me the role to become their manager and continue with my beloved Celtic, with little to loose i accepted, the chance to go to the World Cup as a gaffer was a wonderful thing and meant alot to me.

I Couldn't dawn on my new role for long though, Athletic away awaited me.
Athletic 3 - 1 Celtic (Lewandowski)
Through on away goals but we played 120mins of football, not good for fitness levels at all.

March update on the way soon.
(K).

About to start my Standard Grade exams so play time is going to be very limited as regards to study, thanks for anyone whom is following and i promise to update once every few days (K).

March.

Sorry for the delays, schools really draining me lately, not had alot of time to play.
March was our chance to get the first of a domestic treble, as well as make some progress into the Scots cup.
First we faced Killie at home in the Scottish cup q/f.

Either i'm a genius or this game has become a bit too easy, still though happy with this very unrealistic win.

Next against Juventus was feeling a little confident.
Celtic 3 (Keane 2, Brown (pen) - 0 Juventus.
Woah, brilliant result.

Next up was the most important day in my managerial career, the Scottish League Cup Final.
Celtic 1 (McGowan O.G.) - 0 Hearts
Woohoo, 1 of 3... hopefully... ..

I then went to war with the SFA, we had 4 games in 7 days, and they claimed due to our progress in Europa League this had to be done, punishment for doing well in Europe?

Celtic 2 (Brown, McGeady) - 1 Hearts
Sick of the sight of Hearts played em' 6 times already this season and might have to play em again should they make top 6.

Next up Juventus away, we had a decent lead so i was optomistic.
Juventus 4 - 1 Celtic (N'guemo)
Through on away goals again, riding our luck or what?

St Johnstone at home now, hopefully an easy win.
Celtic 4 (Lewandowski 2, Keane, Brown) - 1 St Johnstone
Easy days, gaining more of a lead in the SPL day by day.

St Mirren away now, another game in which i wanted an easy win.
St Mirren 2 - 2 Celtic (Fortune 2)
For god sake, defending again caused us problems.

Killie at home to round off a good month.
Celtic 5 (Brown 3, Keane, Goodwille) - 0 Kilmarnock
7 goals in his last 2 games vs Kilmarnock, Brown's been performing fantastically, loving it!

April update ASAP, cheers <).

hi guys new to this thread :D some cracking results there mate and especially the first leg against juve. Good luck to you with the rest of the europa league and the league

April.

This was the month i'd been waiting for we faced 11 games in which we could be Europa League finalists, Scottish cup finalists and league winners.
First up Roma.

Roma 0 - 0 Celtic
Totti hit the woodwork once and we had a shot saved off line, decent result.

Next Falkrik at away.
Celtic 4 (Keane, Goodwille2, Brown), - 0 Falkirk.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
This game was one day after the Roma game, me and the boys chanted loud and proud "**** the SFA"

Next after playing on the Thurs & Friday we faced a Sunday and thirda game away to Hibs.
Hibs 0 - 1 Celtic (Goodwille)
Fatigue was a major issue here.

Next on the Tuesday Rangers AWAY, again 4 away games and in the space of 6 days.
View attachment 60213
This put us one win away from the SPL, or one Rangers lose.

I attempted to remain calm before we played Roma but my heart was in my mouth my nerves were getting the better of me.
Celtic 3 (Johnson, Keane, Kryvtsov) - 1 Roma (Totti)
We faced a Celtic legend now, in the form of Martin O'Neill of course i refer to Aston Villa.

That saturday i sat down after we had trainned and my son came running in shouting "It was in the bag in January" i asked him to calm down and explain and he switched on Sky Sports whom had broke the news Rangers had lost 4-0 to Dundee United making us SPL champs.

I was harsh i diddn't let the team celebrate until we beat Motherwell the next day...
Celtic 5 (Lewandowski 2, Caddis 2, Brown) - 0 Motherwell
We were told to wait until the end of the season for our crown but that diddn't stop the celebrations.

The next Sat we faced Rangers... AWAY again, 3 away old firms this season.... *sigh*
View attachment 60207
Haha, too easy to be honest.

View attachment 60209
Gutted felt we could have did alot better.

Next we headed for Hampden to face QOS in the Scottish cup semis.
Celtic 4(Lewandowski 2, Johnson 2) - 0 QOS
The treble is on.. even perhaps the quad <)?

Now the last game of the month one of which i almost broke my hand in real life... all will be revealed.
