End of season almost here now, raced on as the site was down expect massive update from December to April tonight :).
It's 24 inch Chaz.

also my standard grades are done so hopefully can update more regularly now.
 
January & February.

In advance i apologise, i won't be able to proivde a league table until the end of the season due to me playing on.
January started at home against Motherwell
Celtic 3 - 0 Motherwell
goals from Lukaku, Verratti & Jo.

Next we faced Rangers at home.

This basically made us champions we were miles in front. Also this was the end of Rangers manager Walter Smith as Rangers were 4th, he was sacked with imediate effect.

Next Scottish Cup 4th round vs Ross County
Ross County 1 - 1 Celtic
Played a team of u19's my goal came from Filip Twardzik.

Just after the game i signed Adem Ljajic on loan.

Next we again played County in our 4th round replay this time it was the big guns turn.
Celtic 6 - 1 Ross County
I'd name the goalscorers but theres 5 diffrent ones. The highlight was a double for new debutant Ljajic.

Before my next game i signed 2 new & final players for the SPL season.
Yaya Sanogo & Ricardo Quaresma for a cominbed fee of 10 million pounds.

In other news i sold the following;
Jean-alain Boumsong for 60k to Wolfsburg.
Riquelme out on loan.
Robert Lewhandowski to Lyon for 5 million to Lyon.
Febian Brandy to Bolton for 3.3 million.

That concluded my transfers for Celtic for 10/11.

Next at home we faced St. Mirren
Celtic 5 - 1 St Mirren
Goals form Mair (OG), Lukaku x3 & Ljajic.

In news after the game, Rangers had appointed Billy Davies as there new manager on a 3 year deal.

Next was Hamilton away.
Hamilton 2 - 4 Celtic
Two doubles, one for Lukaku & one for Jo.

Next was Hearts away.

Very dissapointing to loose a game so late.

Next was Rangers in the Cis cup semi final, this was the first game of McDonnell vs Davies.
Celtic 4 -1 Rangers
Kuranyi was our hero 3 goals from the big man! Ignaacio Camacho hit his first for us as well to comoftably seal our final place.

Next 2nd placed Dundee Utd.
Celtic 5 - 0 Dundee utd.
Either we were great or they were rubbish, they hadn't lost in 4 prior to this and then they fell prey to another Kuranyi hatrick, and second hoops goal from Camacho & Lukaku delivered the knock out punch to seal all 3 points in a one-sided affair.

That rounds off the first month in 2011.

February

We faced Killie at home.
Celtic 4 - 1 Killie
Two goals from Camacho, 1 from McGeady & 1 from Kuranyi.

Next Abereen in the Scottish cup.
Aberdeen 2 -5 Celtic
goals from McGeady 2, Kuranyi, Jo 2.

Next Aberdeen again, this time at home & in the league.
Celtic 5 -1 Aberdeen
Goals from Sanogo x2 & a hatrick from Lukaku.

Now it was time to face the music good'n'proper.

Im just glad the site is back up felt like I was going cold turkey lol.
 
End of Season 2.

The season now was in full flight and we were flying high, as good as champs, basically last 8 in the Uefa Champions League, on track for a treble & i sat and wondered have Celtic ever had a better season? Then 1967 hit me, winning all 4 competitons Celtic entered that season truely was better than anything i'd did. Then i thought, how good the achivement actully was, my squad's lucky if i have more than 5 Scots while Jock Stein had a winning 11 of Scots and all born within a 60 mile radius of Paradise, know your place Deano.​

The month kicked off against Rangers...

Next was the Scottish cup semi final versus Hibs at home.
Celtc 5 - 0 Hibs
Dominated, brillant performance from the team, goals from; Lukaku2, Sanogo2 & Mcgeady grabbed one.​

Away in the league now to struggling Dundee who had installed John McGlynn as there new boss.
Dundee 1 - 5 Celtic
Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Lukaku had his best game in a Celtic top, scoring 4 goals & Veratti grabbed his best Celtic goal yet, a 25yard freekick, top drawer stuff.​

Now came the League Cup Final, a repeat of the previous season, it came against Hearts...

The team & i had a massive digareement after the game, i wanted them to have a small party, however they wanted the full works, with Fenerbache soon.​

Morale was un-effected which shocked me, last 8 it was, and due to my tight attitude towards the players after the game i took them to "Molly Malones" in Glasgow city centre for a heavy duty drinking session, the boys had done great & deserved all there successes.​

Next day after the game, we gathered in lennox town to await the Champions League Last 8 draw....
LIVERPOOL last years winners of this tournemnt will play...... CELTIC, appearing here for the first time in scottish football history.​

We'd got Liverpool, last years winners, this wasn't going to be easy.​

Next we faced a easy Falkirk side.
Celtic 4 -1 Falkrik
Too easy almost think they let us win, two for Lukaku & two from McGeady, McGeady after the game was seen talking to a Juventus scout & after the game i got a call from Alberto Zaccheroni offering me 10 million for McGeady, i rejected it.​

Next was the second best stadium in the world.... Anfield on second to Paradise.

both pen's were a joke, both taken terribly as well, good win highlight was Qua's first Celtic goal.​

Now came the big one.... the YNWA was deafening, i was shaking and the hairs on my neck were raised, i coudln't wait.

Gutted, the boys were fantastic we deserved to win, all credit to Liverpool though.​

Hamilton at home now this game would make us champs if Dundee lost.

Now a back to back treble was so close!​

Dundee Utd away now, and i'll be honest i wanted Utd to beat us, so Rangers diddn't get into the Champions League next season (6).​

Utd 2 - 2 Celtic
Wohoo, they are in UCL & Rangers ain't, goals from Mcginn & Sanogo & this gave us 100 spl points.​

Hibs at home now, most pointless game of the season.

Now decided to put this aside, not going to be able to play for atleast a month or so, moving house and such in the next month, thanks for following everyone/anyone, i enjoyed this, my first story on Fmbase, and i may choose a more challenging one in the future, special thanks go to Div_Muzza & Chaz Sexington.

Just read over it all. Very good pal, well done. Shame you can't keep it up, but all good things must come to an end, suppose you're better off to quit while you're winning. Best of luck for your next story.
