May.

The final part of my first season which could see us complete a domestic treble.
The month kicked off against the team we'd face in the Scottish Cup final.

Decent result in a game that seen Rangers secure 2nd place due to Utd's lose.

Aberdeen away next.
Aberdeen 1 - 4 Celtic (Keane,McGeady, Fortune, Lewandowski)
The team continue to give even when it doesnt matter, most pleasing.

Just before we played Motherwell at home, (It was a sell-out due to us getting the SPL trophy)
I gave the Celtic fans some news that they loved.
We had agreed two pre-contract agreements with;

The fans loved this, so much so the started to sing "There's only one DeanMcDonnell!"

Celtic 2 (Brown, Samaras (Brown sent off)) - 2 Motherwell
Fun to watch not really bothered as we'd already played 64 competitive games prior to this.

Next to round off the SPL season and take us to 38 games was Hearts.
Hearts 1 - 1 Celtic (Keane)
Bearing in mind we'd be at Hampden to face Dundee Utd in the Scottish Cup i rested a few players.

Next up the Scottish Cup Final.

Was on the edge of my seat, can't beleive we had done the treble in my first season in charge!!

In other news none concerning us, Liverpool won the Champions League of which i took my son to see it, as he also shares the love of the mighty reds, they beat Arsenal 3-2 and Florentina beat Villa to the Europa League.

Here's the season review...

A few other peices of news, i quit as Ivory Coast boss as i feel i cannot cope with the pressures of Celtic & Ivory Coast & i value my post at the Hoops than i do Coast.

My next target is to retain the treble and gun for last 16 in the Champions League.
Here's who i've signed of free's;

Before i start the next season of my story i'd like to say two special thanks to
Div_Muzza & Chaz Sexington
Div's followed from the start & Chaz has helped to make the story slightly better.
Also thanks alot to anyone whom has followed or is following, encouragment keeps this going :P:wub:.

You seem to be doing really well! Sad you quit as manager of the ivory Coast! i was close to signing Romiti, but decided against it as i'm a few years in and my scout said he'd be gash, though i doubt he was right!

Thanks mate, he's just getting put into the reserves till i see how tugs training treats him, then i'll make judgement.

2nd season - pre-season.

I walked into my office for the first time in 3 weeks, i knew holiday time was over and it was time to really go full steam ahead for the new season.
My agent (Matt) called me telling me i had over 56 offers for sponsership just for me, i'd gone from a nobudy to a internationally requested person in just a year.
I got my sqaud together and we told the tales of our fantastic holidays, mine of which i'd spent scouting abroad. Afterwards i had all my new pre-contract signings arrive including Riquelme.
We diddn't have alot of pre-season games planned so we just had to mostly focus on training.
Before we faced any games i'd signed the following players;

A massive transformation alot of free's and the signings of Deco & Kuranyi on free's were massive coups for the club and really pleasing.

Our first pre-season game seen us face Livingstone only due to our clubs agreement of feeder and parent club.

Livingstone 1 - 2 Celtic (Lukaku, Kuranyi)
This was the last game we'd have Mark Venus as assistant manager so i let him take charge, afterwards i had employed John Robertson as my new no.2 of course well known for his past time at Celtic with Martin O'Neill and Aston Villa.

Next Wolves in a friendly, another little test for the bhoys.
Wolves 0 - 1 Celtic (Lakaku)
They're not the best side in the world but there well organised so decent result.

Finally the multi-millon pound Man City, and with the likes of Tevez, Modric & Jovetic this was going to be like playing a Champions League side.

Celtic 1 (Verratti) - 2 Man City (Tevez x2)
Fun-filled game in the new 68 thousand updated Parkhead.

Next update on the way soon XD.

Not bad start to the pre season mate let us know how the knew signings get on.

sign jamie murphy from motherwell quality player

Next update tmoz, was at the game tonight so aint had time.

---------- Post added at 06:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:19 AM ----------

Finally the season was about to begin and i couldn't have been more ready.
To be honest i'd felt like i'd lost heart in the summer then after the freindlies i was hungry for success.
We began the season at home against scottish cup runners up Dundee Utd, this would be very intresting as they were 3rd last time out and i expect they will be again.

Celtic 1 - 0 Utd.
Deco was the only goalscorer in a hard fought game in which we were the rightful vitors.

Next was Lazio in the Champions League, a tournement i was targeting to get quite far into. Lazio had also been the the Europa Semi's last year and went out to the winners Florentina.

Lazio 1 - 1 Celtic
Boring game then came alive in the 74th min when there keeper (Muslera) scored a own goal then 2 minutes later Zarite pounched onto a blocked Rocchi shot to share the spoils.

Next up was relagation candidates St. Mirren at home.

Celtic 3 - 0 St Mirren
Seems we've went back the way, made our defence better yet our lazy and sitter-missing strikers can't seem to net, scores were Brown, McGeady and Lukaku.

I made a phone call to John Roberston informing him he was to take training before todays game as i had other "matters" to deal with. All will be reveled in my next update.

As regards to matters on the pitch we faced Lazio and led all goal diffrence they stood between us and a 2nd seeded place in the Champions League Group Stages.

Celtic 2 - 1 Lazio.
Apologies i can't upload a screenie as the site ain't uploading it for some reason or another but i will when it's not being s tool, Lewandowski grabbed a double and Ledesma scored a peach for them.

Final game of the month seen us face Hearts, Hearts were a completly re-formed side as they'd be taken over and had alot of new players also they still had my target Driver.

Hearts 0 - 3 Celtic
They really under performed and we wern't actully that good, Otamendi & Buonanotte
grabbed their first Celtic goals and Lakaku hit the net in this easy win.

To round off we're on good form with a decent bunch of players and in our champions league group we have drawn;
Lyon - Top seed
Celtic - 2nd seed
Bayern Leverkusem - 3rd seed
Genoa - 4th seed

A group we are capable of winning never mind finishing in second but we must perform to our best abilty to beat Lyon.

###
Thanks to everyone whom is following and please don't be shy, give me stick or praise i'll love you all the same (6)!

Thats a tough group dont underestimate Genoa in my game the won the league 2 years runing in 10/11 season and 11/12 season.

Go for Driver , bought him for 1.5M and sold him for 7M two seasons later , he's class especially in the SPL . Also enjoying the story so far and good luck with your exams i'm sitting them too .

September.

Now to the news that i think could make or break the season, i made 3 deadline deals.
Jo for 5.25 Million from Man City.
Yannis Tafer (loan) from Lyon.
Jonas Olsson 2.8 Million from West Brom.
All three were done with little time to spare my 8 million pound move to bring back goal scoring hero Robbie Keane was turned down so Jo has to be that man.

Month of football diddn't actully start till 11th of September due to Internationals.
When the league did restart we faced Kilmarnock and as you know from last season, when we play Killie it's like shooty-in.

I seen this as the ideal chance to stick Jo & Lakaku together i wanted the two of them to be my up fronters for the season.
View attachment 62138

Delighted with the result & the goalscorers.

Next up the much awaited first Champions League match against a tricky Genoa side at home.
View attachment 62139

Actully enjoyed the game and shouldn't have, a dodgey pen and Boruc saved the other still though could be worse, now i've been made to eat my words as regards to the comments i made about this group being "easy."

Next an under-performing Aberdeen.
Celtic 4 - 2 Aberdeen
Easy game, dissapointed to have conceded two soft goals, scores were Lakaku x3 & Jo.

Next was a home tie against Stirling in the Scottish League Cup (CIS).
Decided to give a few fringe players there chance.
Celtic 4 - 0 Stirling
Easiest game i've been incharge of, scorers were; Yannis Tafer x2, McGinn & finally after a year and two months at the club Sergey Krivets grabbed one.

Rangers at Ibrox next, we walked over then last season and won the title with sheer ease i was hoping for a harder time of it this year, but they were 4 points behind us already with 5 games gone.

View attachment 62140
Seems Jo is proving to be deadly at this level, best 5.25million i ever spent... so far, also Buonanotte needs a mention he's been nothing short of fantastic & also loving Lakaku.

Next Bayer Leverkusen away, a tricky one to nagavate.
View attachment 62148

Lucky but deserving.
I won manager of the month also.
As that was the last game of the month that concludes this update, thanks for all your comments there much appreciated, October update later tonight or tommorows :D.

October.

October kicked off on my birthday we were hosting Hibs.
Celtic 5 -2 Hibs.
Another drastic defencive by us, goalscorers were Jo, Lukaku, McGeady, Goodwille, Mcginn.

Next was Falkirk at home another win.. i hoped.
Celtic 5 - 1 Falkirk
Very easy win, still though 3 games no clean sheets... goals from Jo, Lukaku, Buonanotte x2 and Cristaldo's first ever Hoops goal.

Next Lyon.. in France this was it, all we'd attempted todo building to this.. this was our biggest game of the season so far.

View attachment 62183
Yeeehhhaaaaa Boiiii!!!

Next Motherwell away, the league yet again we'd ran away with the League with Dundee Utd being the cloest to us, they were 3 points behind us and had only lost to us on the opening day.

Motherwell 1 - 4 Celtic
5 Games no clean sheet... goals from Van Damme, Page O.G, Lukaku & jo.

Next Killmarnock, i wish we'd stop getting them in every cup possible, they are rubbish!!
This was a Cis cup match.

Celtic 3 - 1 Kilmarnock
I'm going to kill someone if we don't get a clean sheet sometime soon! A double from Goodwille & a goal from Kuranyi was enough to see us through.

Hamilton at home now to round off a successful month!
View attachment 62191
Oh my god praise be to GOD! we got a clean sheet, good month next update perhaps tonight but most likely to be tommrows as i'm gonna grab some grub and watch Spurs V City.

Go for Driver , bought him for 1.5M and sold him for 7M two seasons later , he's class especially in the SPL . Also enjoying the story so far and good luck with your exams i'm sitting them too .

All the best to you also matey.
