That's what I'd thought - but it's odd how much of a difference there has been between the first and second half performances in almost every match so far. Are we relying on superior fitness to wear teams out before committing to pushing men forward by design?
The pace thing is something which I think we'd all identified the season before last as something which would have to be addressed. Last season confirmed it. This season it's not going to get better. Rumours that Carra wasn't happy at the thought of being a squad player under Rafa and Carra's new contract still not signed (no new contracts for existing players this summer - Insua obviously wasn't offered one either - but that could be purely financial I guess, not that it makes any football sense).
Still, job done and credit to the team for doing it.
