Coentrão to sign for Real Madrid for 25 million euros plus garay? it seems so. Bayern has stepped back, and Barcelona wants José Angel from Gijon I think!

Heitinga to Bayern for around £6M, I am hearing and with Yakubu and Vaughan on their way out for combined totals of around £3M, and the possibility of a big money move for Rodwell, I'm hoping to have around £15-20M to spend. Would like to see Owen, N'Zogbia and Demba Ba in and if Jags gets tempted by Arsenal one of the Brum CB's, preferably Dann.

Figo went from Barcelona though. They hung dummies from lamposts wearing Figo shirts in Barcelona after he signed. Won't be that bad, but he's still going to be one of the most hated men in Madrid.

Meh, well he's a Liverpool fan and all with his best friend here. But we don't really need him, anyway glad he's not coming England if he's not joining us.

This. Not like Real need any more attacking options, either - Ronaldo, Higuain, (Benzema), Callejón (now), (Pedro Leon), Ozil, Kaka -> Where's he going to fit in? None of those players would be happy sitting on the bench.

He's also really not the sort of player they need. If they need any other forward, it's someone like Llorente or Negredo IMO.

That's worse IMO. The rivalry between Barca and RM is more heated than RM-Atletico as far as I know. Especially since they're both top clubs, but also because of historical stuff.
 
Skysports.com understands a host of clubs are ready to pounce for Scott Dann in the wake of Birmingham's relegation.

Dann's presence was sorely missed in the Blues defence as they suffered relegation on 'Survival Sunday' after losing 2-1 to Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

The highly-rated 24-year-old has not figured since tearing his hamstring during the Carling Cup semi-final clash with West Ham in early January.

Many pundits have suggested his enforced absence has been the contributing factor to Birmingham's demise from the Premier League with defensive partner Roger Johnson looking less assured without Dann alongside him.

In the 18 Premier League games without Dann, Birmingham have conceded almost 50 per cent more goals per game than when the talented central defender has started.

Reputation

Birmingham are expected to lose a number of key stars in the wake of their relegation and Dann is set to be the most sought-after player at St Andrew's.

Dann, who been likened to Alan Hansen and Tony Adams, is in-demand from the Premier League's big guns because of his ability to bring the ball out of defence and his displays for Birmingham have earned him a reputation as one of the best young defenders in the country.

Liverpool have held a long-term interest in Dann and the defender is thought to be high on the list of Kenny Dalglish's summer transfer targets.

However, a number of the other top-six clubs in England are thought to be weighing up moves for the cultured stopper as he would be a better value for money option than several other defensive targets.

Players have said things and not kept true to their words in the past e.g Torres saying he will not play for another English club whilst he was at Liverpool and now he is playing for Chelsea and I also remember in an interview before the 09 champions league final Ronaldo said that he doesnt want to join Real Madrid and will be staying at Utd and then a week later set off to Madrid.

That's what I'm saying. Figo's was worse, but Aguero is still going to be very hated in one half of Madrid.
