Wolfsburg's midfielder is going to leave Wolfsburg to any club that buys out his contract for 10 mil €, or he'll be playing for Wolfsburg reserves team which is in the 4th league...

Again, croatian webpages...

Its quite impossible to say the least. Big Italian clubs are fighting for his signature, such as Lazio, Juve, Roma..

Yeah, I wouln't take that rumour too seriously. Looks certain to move to Italy and I don't think interest from QPR will turn his head far.

More likely turn his head the other way,

Big fan of Kranckjar (sp) and would love to have him but dont think it will happen.

Manchester United appear to have won the race to sign Lens defender Raphael Varane and could be unveiled shortly after next week's Champions League final.

Lens have been relegated and are in a position where it has become impossible to hang on to their 18-year-old starlet.

French paper L'Equipe is reporting that United have been negotiating economic terms, which could include the player spending a time back at Lens on loan, and are close to finalising the deal.

Newcastle were also keen on Varane and United's good news news will also come as a blow to Barcelona, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, who were all chasing the same player.

Lens' Raphael Varane is set to decide on whether to join Man United in the next week or so. Fergie doesnt want to loan him back out. #mufc

Lens are relegated so we can get him easily for cut price.

I am looking at maybe three signings which would boost our overall quality in our team."

Hope we sign a CM apart from GK. Other position maybe a winger or a CB (Raphael Varane? )

Barcastuff:

"If Barcelona lose the CL final, president Rosell will the next day meet with Wenger and Cesc's agent Dein to offer 30M + 2 players for Cesc.

"The 2 players, chosen from 4 and who would be sold with buy-back option, would not be Thiago nor Bojan, who could be included in Rossi deal.

"If Barcelona win the CL final, there will be no hurry to sign Cesc. Arsenal ask 50M, Barcelona values him at less than 45M [mundo deportivo]"

Why would we agree to having a buy-back clause in players' contracts? As if them buying back Cesc wouldn't be enough to convince us that that's not a good idea.. It would just give them even more reason to talk to the press about OUR players. The arrogance and hypocrisy coming from them is ridiculous frankly.

Which two players would we want if they won't give us Thiago or Bojan? Afellay? Not that good this year - warming the bench for Barca every week. None of the others are realistic/needed by Arsenal.

Also - how do they figure that a) if they win the Champions League, they don't need Fabregas and/or b) Fabregas will be more likely to join them if they lose? Surely he'd be more inclined to go them if they were the champions? Love how they value Cesc at less than 45M as well. Their bid last year was stupidly low.

It would not be the end of the world when you lose Cesc. And he will leave, it is just a matter of when. The end of the world would be not replacing him in the centre. There are plenty of players like Cesc who can create chances, have good vision and so on. You also need a striker who can steer clear of injuries and be relied upon to put the ball in the back of the net. Arsene should have the money at his disposal to maybe splash out to bring the right player in, it is a question of if he will.

Varane looks in the bag, after that its GK,CM, LM needed, maybe ST if we do sell berbs for the right price

Just read on SS that top European clubs are after Nigel Reo-Coker. Race on for Reo-Coker | Sky Sports | Football | Premier League | News

Newcastle are also interested in Daniel Sturridge, should he be seen only as a squad player at Chelsea next season
N'Zogbia wants to return to Newcastle. Also, the quote suggests that Newcastle may have already made enquiries -

“Charles left Newcastle on the back of a row with Kinnear.” “He’s always regretted leaving the club, and if there was a chance to come back he would obviously be interested.”

“He’s got a big game with Wigan this weekend and then there will probably be a lot of talk about where Charles goes next.”

“But he is intrigued by the plans that Alan Pardew has in store for Newcastle next season.”

We've rumoured, or about to enquire with Jay Bothroyd on a free transfer.
Also, we've offered Ba 60k a week to stay with us, after he described west ham fans as 'fantastic'

We have Ramsey who is his long-term replacement in terms of being a similar player. I'm not sure we'd splash out on signing someone to directly replace him but we might - depending on how good Ramsey is by the time Cesc leaves (and I agree - it's a matter of when, but hopefully that's some way into the future ;)).

Not sure scoring goals (or having 1 striker who can do that on his own) is our problem to be honest. Our whole team chips in more than say, Man Utd. Like Chelsea last year who had goals from Lampard, Malouda, etc. rather than Drogba and someone else both getting all of the goals. That's a discussion for another day, though and I wouldn't mind having Bojan at the club - I think he still has potential but there's no way they can expect us to agree to a buy-back clause. That's just arrogant.

I cant see Demba staying, has proven himself good enough for the Prem, and there are plenty of clubs looking at him.

Will wait for the official announcement as we all thought Ramsey was in the bag :(

We will sign GK for sure.

CM: Hopefully someone who is good in attack and defense. Not just an AM as we always want the CM to do defensive duties.

LM: Nani and Park are good enoguh. Would love to see a left footed left winger. Wont mind N'Zogbia. He has played well as a RW but he is as good even as LW.

ST: No way we should sell Berba. Excellent professional. He hasn't even moaned about being rotated. I dont think we can find any better 3rd striker than him.

GK, CM are must. Hopefully that Varane kid too..

Doubt he'd agree to that. I think he'll be playing PL football next year or will stay w Cardiff.
