Henderson will be good for me. Don't quite like McCarthy somehow.

Hope we dont. Let them have him. I dont want him to be at United. For starter we can do better by signing Rodwell.. There are so many players who are better than him and cost little..

Agreed, have no interest in Henderson whatsoever

Tbh I don't see all the hype about Henderson. Doesn't have any outstanding qualities imo

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has told Rai Italia Radio,

"Javier Pastore is the only player that could move from Palermo, about 4 or 5 foreign clubs are interested in him. He's wanted by Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City, in addition to the Italian clubs, Inter and AC Milan, and Juventus. The team I credit more for Pastore is Real Madrid, not because they are advanced in the negotiations but because they need him."

Previously he said he wont be moving to Barca as he wants to play regularly. Dont know how much this move helps his case.

Would be excellent signing for Chelsea though. Absolutely brilliant. I wont be against this either. He is the star in making. Hope we sign him and tweak our formation..

Henderson's much better than Rodwell! He can't even get into the Everton team! ;) Nah, but both aren't worth that much.

Since when did Real need ANOTHER creative attacking player? Ozil, Ronaldo, Kaka, Altintop to name a few, plus Canales.

pastore is capable of playing deeper (MC as opposed to AMC), would need a more active enforcer alongside him though

Thats because Moyes is trying mould him into a attacking midfielder, makes a much better holding player, certainly better than henderson

What we need is Keane beside any attacking midfield player. Simple as that. Shame we dont have anyone like him. Such a great player..

When did that stop Madrid from buying players..

Rumor is that they are offloading Higuain to accommodate Aguero..

I've never seen the fuss over Rodwell, always seemed average to me, but meh could be biased. Although, I expect Coleman to be interesting many sides.

I prefer Henderson to Rodwell, but I think Tunnicliffe will be better than both so I don't want either. I do have the feeling that Fergie will go for Jordan though...

We should be in for this guy, but if we don't make a move then I'd like him to join Milan. I wouldn't mind Illicic from Palermo either.

Kjærs fremtid: Himmel eller helvede - Fodbold

Simon Kjaer has been forced to cancel the U21 European Championships in Denmark by his coach in Wolfsburg, Felix Magath. A new annoying season in Wolfsburg with manic Magath. At the same buzz rumors that love to be included in a barter, where he is coming to Liverpool, while Christian Poulsen, the opposite way. A dream scenario for the younger end who will be joined by his team mate Daniel Agger. The upcoming season may be either heaven or **** for Simon Kjær.

- Right now it's just rumors, but I must admit that there are personal reasons for such a move. My father and my uncle are gigantic Liverpool fans and would be happy if I was in just the club. I was even Liverpool fan until I came up at this level and put it with a fan-side of the football a little in abeyance, says Simon Kjaer, adding:

- When I think of my career, then a big club in any case always be a great place to play and like a day in England - and regardless of whether the so called Liverpool or Manchester United. But okay - to play for Liverpool would then probably mean something extra for me, admits Simon Kjaer with a wry smile and nod that he still has a big name in Italy, despite a year of German afflictions.

Good moaning.

I Kjaer am liking. He at LFC good it would be.

@SkySportsbucko:
According to reports in Germany, Bayern Munich's bid to sign Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng has stalled due to the difference in valuations. City reportedly want £17.6m for Boateng, but Bayern are only prepared to pay £7m

Chelsea have had a £33m offer for Javier Pastore rejected, the Palermo president has claimed.

The 21-year-old winger is one of the most coveted players in Europe with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all understood to be keen on doing a deal for him this summer.

But, speaking on Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, the club's president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that the west London club have firmed up their interest with an offer - which was some way short of their asking price.

Zamparini said: "Chelsea was a club that we had a major offer from.

"But it did not reach the minimum figure that we set for a player of his quality.

"If someone wants to buy Pastore, the price is 50m (£44m).

"There are five or six clubs also interested, including Man City and big clubs from Spain and Italy but so far there has been nothing from them."
