I mean you can tell the story is bogus by looking at the transfer fee.. Spurs refused to sell to Chelsea last year despite Chelsea offering a bigger transfer fee. Not to mention they did not even want to negotiate. No way Levy will let one of his prized assets leave for that sort of money

But this is the second season without CL for spurs - there has been many rumours that Modric is ready to leave to test himself again in the CL.

Luka Modric must hate Levy so much lol, he wanted to go to Chelsea to get Champions League football and if he did he would have a winners medal lol.

Modric has been ready to leave for two summers now. That does not mean Levy will sell him at a bargain of 25m

He would have been European Champion lol. But I am pretty sure he was congratulating himself earlier in the season when Tottneham were flying high and Chelsea were ****. But ultimately him and Spurs got trolled in the end

info from Lewandowski's people: United made enquiry a month ago, categorically knocked back from Dortmund. no contact since

Bad move by Dortmund, Lewandowski does not want to renew his contract which has 2 years remaining, he is a great player admittedly but surely you have to cash in rather than let him go on a free.

They were already losing Kagawa. Lewandowski is probably even more key.

Alternatively, they could keep one of their best players, win another Bundesliga title and possibly more, and earn more money from competition prize money than they would have gotten from his transfer anyway.

It isn't like he has one year left either. If he has another good season and Dortmund win further silverware, then maybe they'll choose to sell him on in 2013.

A player who has no intention to renew his contract at Dortmund is instantly an issue, because he might not put 100% in for the club anymore, all factors you have to consider, having said that I think he is a professional so he probably would not make a song and dance about it. But when United or another club come knocking (Bayern) it is very hard for him to still stay at Dortmund, if he wants to move.

They have a certain Marco Reus coming in, he can play as a striker, Mario Gotze is very good in Kagawa's position, they could facilitate it easily, a player who has no interest in staying at the club is pretty much looking at other options, whoever it may be (Bayern, Juventus, United).

OR he might put in a extra shift to make sure big teams get interested in him. Who would take him if he does half arsed job for his last year at club?

And no worries Dortmund will sign Big Nic from us ;) he's better than Kagawa and Lewandowski combined... at least in his own head.

Lmao, yeh Bendtner all the way, although to be fair I think he is a lot better when he plays for Denmark, which is strange. I guess we can see him in action later on today.

Gotze is a playmaker, Reus isnt Lewandowski. He was the key linking the midfield and attack.

Dortmund absolutely did not want to lose Kagawa, and nor do they want to lose Lewandowski, and certainly not both in one summer.

Another is Adam Johnson, although some sites say 17m , for a bit part player who lacks consistency that's too much for me... Would like him though
