Worth bit more than that i reckon. 7.5-10m

Reckon Wigan will accept something around 10m. They are not really in a position to dictate terms. Only 12 months left on his contract and also the obvious gulf between the two clubs

Nigerian. Would count as 'home grown', though.

Interesting, hadn't seen that he has opted to play for Nigeria. Oh well **** it then, he's worth 3 million tops/.

Moses is good, be a bit wasted at Chelsea. Should go to a top 7/8 team though.

Seems strange, they already have a ton of attacking options.. Cheaper alternative to Hulk I guess? So gutted he chose to play for Nigeria, honestly think he wasn't far away from getting a call up.

You could be right although... He will rotate with Ramires on the right. With his versatility he should not have trouble getting games especially for a side that that will be playing in a number of competitions next season and even in a 'normal' season he should get games

Mario Mandzukic is supposed to sign for Bayern Munich this week for around 10 mil euros

The transfer of Jan Vertonghen seems to have stalled because of a clause in his contract.
Vertonghen seems to have signed a contract with relative low wages but with a 15% transfer fee clause.

Spurs are rumoured to have offered 9.5 mil + 2.5 mil if Spurs qualify for CL.

The 15%=1.8 mil Vertonghen would get seems to be more than Ajax are willing to allow.

Ajax seem to think keeping Vertonghen will ensure surviving CL group stage and a 3rd consecutive title this year.

This would theoretically result in:

7.2 mil CL starting bonus in 2013
6+ mil ticket sales in 2013
3 mil bonus if they reach knock out stage this year
--------------------------------------------------------------------total
16.2 mil (excl. match bonus)

Barcelona have agreed a fee of 11 Million with Valencia for Jordi Alba

Absolute bargain, and possibly their weakest position has just got incredibly stronger

11m **** cheap when you compare what Real paid for Coentrao.

Not to mention Jordi Alba with his attacking play down the left... providing width and stretching the opposition defence would add another dimension to the Barcelona attack. Make them less predictable bceause right now teams realize they have a chance against Barcelona if they congest the middle and hold their defensive shape compressing spaces

Alba is very versatile as well. Can play anywhere down the left I think. Bargain signing

Will eric Abidal still play for barca next season. Jordi's sign look really good imo. welcome back home i guess.

Moving back to English football, Karim El-Ahmadi looks set to finish up a move to Aston Villa, with out-of-contract Simon Poulsen also linked.

If those two go through, I will be exceptionally happy.

Apparently Luka Modric set to hand in a written transfer request to Tottenham... Looks like he will force through a move this summer

The Mirror reports that Man United set to bid 15m for Baines, while New Spurs boss AVB might bring in Alvaro Peiera with him, leaving BAE future hanging.

Gylfi Sigurdsson looks set to finish his medical at Spurs, leaving Rodgers to look on to Mark Davies of Bolton instead (Daily Mirror)

Luuk de Jong is on Newcastle's radar as the club send their delegation to Holland to tie up the deal. (Daily Mail)
