F.ex. on hard away matches?
I'm really not sure about that because I remember my 1st and 2nd seasons with Southampton and I used attacking version vs top clubs like MU, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and other and I was totally satisfied how it holds so I really didn't feel like I need use defensive version in these matches.

Later in 2nd season I used attacking version in CL against world top clubs and also was satisfied how it holds.

I usually use defensive version when I lead by 2 goals or in away CL matches if I have advantage by 2 goals.

one question about roles, since i think i almost understand perfectly

in def version the DLP (left CM) is on support, which means someone like pirlo could be used and would work good, yes?

but in the att version, the DLP is on defend, which means pirlo would be bad and you'd need a more physical and tackling playmaker, correct? (like gerrard, xabi alonso, etc)

Player who plays in MCR position in attacking version must have these attributes:

Work Rate (14+)
Teamwork (14+)
Positioning (14+)
Marking (12+)
Tackling (12+)
Strength (11+)
Jumping Reach (10+)
Bravery(11+)

If player pass minimal requirement for these attributes he can play this position. Rest of his CA budget can be spent on attacking and technical attributes. Xabi Alonso and Lucas Leiva are good examples.

i try both version

i find defensive version a lot better than attacking version, in attacking i concede too many goal

anyone else feel same?

Mate, I really don't think that attacking version is too weak in defense considering its attacking potential.

I think attacking version is well balanced and can be used as base tactic. Soon I'll updated OP and rename it.

Also I'm going to add even more attacking version which can be used when you chasing the game and need goal so there'll be 3 version: Base(you start matches with it) and 2 support tactics – Defensive and Overload(you can switch for these tactics depend on match scenario).

For example, here're some match stats from my 1st season with Southampton when I used attacking version(it's gonna to be base tactic).

Home match vs Aston Villa.
Aston Villa managed to make only 2 shots: 0 CCCs and 0 Half Chances.
I really don't see need to be more defensive in this match.

Away match vs Stoke.
Stoke managed to make only 4 shots: 1 CCCs and 0 Half Chances.
I also don't see need to be more defensive in this match.

Away match vs Chelsea
Chelsea managed to make only 7 shots: 0 CCCs and 3 Half Chances.
The same here. Such statistic in defense against Chelsea is totally acceptable for me.

i get what you mean but here's what i find

with attacking version: they get less shots, but usually they get easy shot where they cross the ball from wide infront of my CB, and cause no DM it's a free shot

with defense version: they get more long shots but every time they try cross my DM sweeps the ball up

+ with defense version i still score a lot, in attacking version i find that the left striker/deep lying forward can sometimes not do much

I'VE UPDATED OPENING POST AND ADDED THIS:

*BASE VERSION*

DESCRITION: This is a well balanced tactic and I recommend start matches with it then later decide switch for attacking/defensive version or keep using this base version.

Download the tactic - TFF_UNREAL(_BASE_)_V1.tac

Attack_V1.jpg

*ATTACKING VERSION*

DESCRITION: This version is more attacking than base. You sacrifice some defense but getting more strong attack.

WHEN TO USE IT?: For example, when I play against team which equally strong or weaker and start losing by one goal I usually immediately switch for this version. Also I can switch for this version in second half when it's draw but I think I can take more risk and win this match.

Download the tactic - TFF_UNREAL(_ATTACK_)_V1.tac
Download the mirror version - TFF_UNREAL(_ATTACK_)_V1(MIRROR).tac
Use mirror version in case you have good player who can play MR position and don't have player for ML position.

attackvv1.jpg

*DEFENSIVE VERSION*

DESCRITION: This version is most defensive. You give away some possession and attacking potential but became more solid at the back.

WHEN TO USE IT?: I usually use this version when lead by 2 goals and by 1 goal only if draw is also acceptable result for me.

Also all other versions have been updated:
Changes:
- Tweaked passing settings for DCL/DC/DCR positions.

Description and recommendations when to use every version have been changed. New set of tactics look like this:

*ATTAKING VERSION*

DESCRITION: This version has strong attack and reasonable defense.

WHEN TO USE IT?: I would recommend use this version in matches where you are clear favorite. IMPORTANT - but if at any point of the match you start winning by 2 goals I would recommend switch for Defensive version.

Download the tactic - TFF_UNREAL(_ATTACK_)_V3.tac

*DEFENSIVE VERSION*

DESCRITION: This version has very solid defense and your opponent has minimal chances to score. Your team plays defensive counter-attacking football.

WHEN TO USE IT?: This version can be used for matches where you are underdog or just want to use more caution approach. IMPORTANT – but if at any point of the match you start losing I would recommend switch for Attacking or Overload version.

*OVERLOAD VERSION*

DESCRITION: This version has stronger attack than Attacking version but you sacrifice some defense for it.

WHEN TO USE IT?: Use this version when you need goal at any cost.

Download the tactic - TFF_UNREAL(_Overload_)_V3.tac
Download the mirror version - TFF_UNREAL(_Overload_)_V3(MIRROR).tac
Use mirror version in case you have good player who can play MR position and don't have player for ML position.

No more Base Version :)
Using Overload Version is just awsome
1st game : Aston Villa ( No transfer ) vs Norwich City - Won 4 -2 ( 9 CCC for Aston - 6 CCC for Norwich !!! )
2nd game : Aston Villa ( No transfer ) vs Hull - Won 4-1 ( 2 CCC for Aston - 2 CCC for Hull )
After 2 game , My AMC score 4 goal :)
