I'm playing as Liverpool in the first season and I'm struggling to get anybody with Long Throws at 15+ in Career Mode. I nearly signed Martin Montoya from Barcelona and was going to train him on Long Flat Throws but he signed a new contract. Javi Manquillo I've managed to get up to Long Throws 14, so he will probably be good enough shortly, but he's only on loan and so I can't give him Preferred Moves training. Emre Can has Long Throws 15 but he doesn't play as a wide defender, I play him at centre-back. There seem to be very few players good enough to play for Liverpool who play as wide defenders that have Long Throws at 15 or more who can learn what is needed.

Ironically, Chelsea have won the league (I'm on course to finish second) and Azpilicueta tore me to shreds with his long throws when I just played them. They beat me 5-0. Hoping to rebuild in the second season and maybe sign Manquillo on a permanent deal to teach him Flat Throws, but he's only 2.5 stars for my team.

Just finished a first season with LFC myself, and that really is a challange. For me tho Jose Enrique learned it after 4months in FMC mode, no one else :( i managed a PL win, but not nearly in a impressive manner as this tac are capable of.. Just started a new game with Man City and they are flying 24GD in four matches..

Try Jonas Knudsen he is amazing! He has 17 in long throw and possesses long throw from the start

Nice, ill look for him. Is he there by default or do you need Danish league for him to appear?
 
You should appear Danish League.But i can advice you someone better than him. Try Luis Hernandez.Trust me minimum 8.80 per season :)

Luis is Right Defender and Knudsen is Left Defender :) He playes in Esbjerg in the Danish league but he is in around the national team so I dont know if he will be there if the Danish league is not in.. Also another great buy is Sisto from FC Midtjylland ;)
 
v0lliz, in your original tactic the MCL has the "run wide with ball" instruction, while the MCR do not. Are they both supposed to have this instruction or not?

nicely spotted! yeah they were both supposed to have that, no idea why i missed that!
 
Playing around with a new version with leicester first season and won 4 out of 4 so far including a 3-2 away win at united
