After racking in some £70,000,000 by selling two players who I brought in for £2,500,000 the board have finally invested in a new training and youth facility costing a staggering £46,500,000!

About time too. We've actually been using Stockport's training facilities for the last year or two (something I'd never seen before in FM).

Hopefully now we might get some youth players in great than half a star potential!​

I resigned as Altrincham manager to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

I didn't have to wait long for a challenge to present itself as my old job was taken up by the Manchester United manager.

I jumped at the chance of returning to Manchester after an all too brief spell in charge almost 10 years ago.


The club is all change. Old Trafford is gone. The 131,557 seater Cuny Arena is now their home.

**Possibly my greatest achievement ever was qualifying for the Champions League Group Stage with Derry City in 2062. AND against all the odds we even qualified for the knockout stage but came unstuck against old club Manchester United.***

The whole point of taking over Derry and Ireland was to improve the quality of Irish regens and perhaps make the league one of Europe's finest. However, despite over £13m in the bank the Derry board continually refused to upgrade the youth facilities and we only got two youth team graduates in two seasons, each with 0.5 star potential.

So I resigned and plotted my next move...
