Another Champions League trophy in the bag and yet another tough game versus Manchester United in the final - that is 4 finals against them in the last 6 years, winning 3 and losing one.

The next club awaits....

Juventus tried to poach me during the last season and they are the last remaining club in Italy I need to win the CL with so maybe they'll come calling again.

Manchester ****** United again in the final!!! They've been in 7 of the last 8 Champions League Finals facing a team managed by me on 5 of those occasions. I've won 3 and lost 2 of those. Sadly this one was a loss.

Elsewhere we dominated the league, winning by 32 points! All the other cups were bagged and the CV grows bigger by the day.

Rather than play on with Milan I've decided to resign and see if that quickens the search for the next ex-Champions League winning job to become available. Stay tuned...​

CHELSEA GET THEIR HANDS ON BALLS!!

Not long after resigning the Chelsea job became available so I jumped on it.

However they are a team in decline finishing 6th, 10th and 14th in the last three seasons so I envisage spending a few years here before winning the Champions League​

Season 2037/38

CHELSEA

Before I took over Chelsea had lowly league finishes of 10th and 14th so claiming a Champions League spot was far from guaranteed.

However, after assessing the squad the core was there for a possible fight for CL football and with a few shrewd signings who knew what was possible.

As it developed we had a fantastic season, finishing 2nd to the all-powerful Man Utd, winning the FA Cup and losing the Capital One Cup final in extra time to Man City. Against City we got 2 injuries after already making all 3 subs and so played over 30 mins with only 9 men. A shame as we dominated City.

All-in-all we achieved what we wanted - Champions League football.

The club also moved into the new 55,952 capacity Chelsea Stadium this season so hopefully the finances will improve and allow me to sign one or two world class players which is all we would need to challenge for the Champions League trophy

ALSO a World Cup coming up for Italy. Yet to win the WC on FM13 so I'll give it a bash and probably resign after the tournament to concentrate on the Champions League Challenge​

ITALY WIN THE WORLD CUP!!!

Once I got the Chelsea job I considered resigning from the Italian national team but decided to stick around for the World Cup and a good decision it turned out to be!

We won every game at the tournament including 4-1 v Germany and 3-1 wins against England and Holland. The only match we struggled in was the final, winning on penalties over Chile but we really should have pu the game to bed long before that.

I've continued the save actually. In 2058 now but stopped the actual challenge aspect and just playing for fun.

I completed the English Hero challenge with Altrincham so I might return to the Champions League challenge shortly.

When I get time I will post a season-by-season update of my career from 2038 to 2058.

I love the game more when I get to the point where every known has retired and been replaced by regens.

In CM01/02 I got to year 2300-something.

Definitely aiming for 2100+ on FM13
