Again we finish the game with 10 players but two late goals set up a semi final against Lyon who knocked out AC Milan on penalties after a 5-5 aggregate thriller

Oh dear! We've been pretty dominant in most matches this season but this is certainly one were we can consider ourselves lucky to have got anything. Suspensions to key players have hurt. Our £30m striker and top goalscorer picked up a 3 game ban and won't be back till the Final (if we make it)

Ha. I thought I was lucky in the first leg! Well lady luck shined down on us again. Since the new game update I've lost count of the amount of times the opposition has scored from their only shot on target. At last it has worked in my favour.

We face Man Utd in the final. Utd have won the last 3 CLs including beating me when in charge of Arsenal in 2031.

We secured a famous QUADRUPLE winning every competition we entered, most importantly of course the Champions League. We absolutely dominated Serie A and put the reserve team out for most of the final games allowing us to concentrate on the Champions League.

The Coppa Italia was also a walkover, easing past AC Milan 4-0 in the final.

Ironically the Champions League was the only lucky cup win. We eased past most teams but were fortunate to knock out Lyon in the semis and we were 4 minutes away from losing in the Final to Man Utd.

Nevertheless, luck or no luck, the first Champions League trophy is in the bag. Now to look out for the next job...​

A highly controversial move given I've just won the quadruple with city rivals Inter Milan.

There was two jobs available to me: AC Milan or Nottm Forest. Forest had just be relegated to League One and sensationally turned down my application so across the city I go.​

The Champions League group stage was fairly straightforward only an 85th minute equaliser from Stuttgart denying us top spot ahead of Real Madrid.

In Serie A we sit 6 points clear off former team Inter Milan having player 17, won 16, drew 1 and only 7 goals conceded.

If we can avoid Inter and Man Utd in the Champions League draws then I see no reason why the squad I have can't go all the way.​

We made easy work of what could have been a tricky tie.

Next up... old foes Man Utd.

Utd have features in the last FIVE Champions Leagues finals, winning 3 and losing 2 against me when I was in charge of Inter and Arsenal. We'll need to be at the top of our game to progress

WOW! A fantastic result with the decisive moment coming when Man Utd were reduced to 10 men. The Champions League kings are on the brink of exiting earlier than the Final for the first time in 6 years!

Nerve wrecking! Utd raced into a 3-0 lead with barely 30mins gone and I feared the unlikeliest of comebacks. However we pulled on back meaning Utd needed another 3. Thankfully they got none.

A surprising comfortable win against one of my former clubs. In fact I'm slightly disappointed were don't have a bigger advantage

A straight red for our left winger after 14mins when we were already 1-0 down signalled the end...or so I thought. An 86th minute goal sent the away fans into raptures and Milan into the Champions League Final to face yet another English team, this time Man City

A rather unfortunate loss to City. An own goal from our keeper turned out to be the winner. We were missing our first choice left back, left winger and right winger - two via injury and one because he was away on international duty with Mexico (WTF!!)

Hopefully with one or two signings we can go one step further next year.​

Besides the Champions League Final heart break it was an otherwise successful season. We won Serie A at a canter and followed that up with another Coppa Italia.
