WARLORD !

As this is a TFF i'm sure he wont mind this plug. This warlord tactic is great btw but his Battlemaster from fm16 is just destroying teams for me. I play a sub par potential building team of Ipswich with my best player at the dizzy ability level of 141 according to genie scout, and even then i sold him in january to juventus. I just finished 2nd in the league (only 2nd to a completely dominant Man united) and i won the league cup, fa cup and the champions league!!! unbelievable stuff. Great work TFF !! :D

games played using v4 awesome tweak! The midfield is a lot more fluid against this ME and better than when v1 was at its peak against the beta ME.

I'm on my 3rd season with Southampton (love their focus on youth and surprise take over survival achivement)

having said that, those games were still hard fought wins, I actually fell behind first on the two games I won 2-1.
One of them I had to adjust to even higher Def Line and Fairly Narrow width and swap out my underperforming striker (which wasn't his fault as he really wasn't getting enough support but I felt his confidence was waning after HT)

The second I just had to keep encouraging them and set to a lower closing down setting as the opponent was passing rather slowly (I figured they had a low tempo or retain possession mode on), once the defense started gaining structure, again I had to change to a narrower width to let me wing backs bom forward just to get more crosses in. The wide players running or moving around the wide side of the pitch caused the opponent to have players around there so playing them into the inside of the pitch allowed the wing backs more space.

Against Liverpool I actually scored first but they had this monstrous reply where they just kept pounding and nothing I did could stop them.

Still plenty of space for improvement.
 
Help please

Hey mate, im a huge fan of your tactics, always used them on fm16 and won the league twice with warlord using manchester united on fm17. Ive started a online game with a friend using middlesborough and the warlord tactic isnt working. i was wondering if you have a different tactic i could use or a suggestion? Thank you in advance :)
