look at where i finished 9th in the league amazing my board was really happy. Erm i dono what is hough's tactics. But I would honestly suggest 442 as the best formation. Try to win the home games. And against big teams its alright to lose i do not expect the team to win against those strong team. When u were promoted to the premiership how much did your board give you? and where are you at now?

This is my current Leiciester team for the 2012/13 season. My target is now top half finish but if i can try push for a european spot. I missed out a euro cup spot last season by 3 points only crazy!!

I've always notice that changing your tactic regularly helps, especially if you are in a big league. This is because other teams send scouts to scout your team on how they play, after a while teams become aware of the tactics you use.

Dunno if this helps :)

I would say that finishing top half with that team is rather good and you probably have the basis of a good tactic to build on. Do you use any shouts or tweak the tactic pregame to suit the circumstances, playing differently away to United vs home to bottom team X ?

Milan can be a tactic? With curlers and instructions groupishness? Thanks to helpers

Here is my squad any player specific profile screenies needed then please do ask?

Hi!
I'm looking for a tactic for Napoli. Currently I use ZS tactic, bit I have quite a lot problems with scoring. I have good strikers (Cavani, Lavezzi) but they scored together 4 goals in 9 matches, whole team 8. Also Sosa is disappointing. Away looks quite good on the control tactic, but attack at home agaist week teams is annoying...
I will be happy with some suggestions.

PS. I have basic squad + pinedo, rami and marveaux - aronica

squad help also will be great :)

You struggling, if you are doing so and its just not in the first 3 matches, could be down to 2 things.(most of the time a combination)

- The motivation and (over)confidence of the players
- That the opponent now sits deeper with more men behind the ball

As for the tactical side, you are playing very, very quick counter attacks through the middle and if the opponent floods the midfield and sits with more men behind the ball, perhaps also holding possession in midfield, then you will have trouble breaking them down. The first thing I would do is to lower the tempo, petrhaps setting it bang in the middle and take it from there. If you see that you are managing tp stretch the opponent by being more patient, then you could try tweaking more things, like rducing the ruins from deep of your more advanced players( if they are on any runs form deep that is) until you find a good balance between movement ahead of the ball to stretch the defence and the tempo you are playing i. If it has worked for you so far, then minor adjustments are often only needed

As for the manhandling part, I am no expert on that and will leave this to the others

I'm looking for tactic for my ***** Villarreal !
I walk away from Chelsea in the middle of second season. So Villarreal hire me as a manager. Squad is soo ***** there is no Rossi, Nilmar, Cazorla and etc. only bunch of average players. I think Marchena, Gonzalo and Lopez is the best players in my team. I can't dominate the game at my own pitch and in away games i'm very very lucky if i manage 1 shot on target... I just standing and watching as team form below of the table scoring goals one by one... HELP ME!

What kind of formation suits your team ? Perhaps some screens of the team

I think 4-4-2 or 4-2-4 should be the best for my team because I don't have many options in the centre of midfield. I got 2 DM's 1 CM and 1 ACM.
Here is the screen of my team :

Thinking about starting a malaga save... any suggestions tactic wise?

Started a crawley save, any suggestions on tactic wise?

Got Brandy and Gueye upfront.

i was wondering if anyone has got ideas on a tactic for my team. Ive just started 2nd season after a reasonable first season. I played a 41212 for the first season and im not sure whether to change it or attempt to tweak the 41212. I also have a few more youngsters in the reserves. Any ideas appreciated

I would probably continue using the narrow diamond but if wanting to change formation, perhaps a 4312 would suit the squad at hand,

Yeah i am trying to make a good 4312 with 3CM, its going alright at the moment but im struggling to stop all my midfield getting muddles up together haha

Thoughts on a formation and some roles?

You need to be a little more specific. Is your team capable of attacking, or do they counter-attack?

From the squad screenshots, I can see that playing a counter-attacking 4-5-1. Your wingers seem fast enough to start some quick counters, and your fullbacks can come in overlap with them. You have a good, capable midfield that can use a passer-creator-destroyer trio easily. Looking at Adam Lallana, he looks like one that could bring on some creativity to the team. You have Sokouna and Chamberlain as well.

I would also suggest re-training Febian Brandy into a winger onto the opposite side of his strongest foot, so that he can cut inside, and make some through passes into your strongest target man - whether that be Gary Madine or Garra Dembele. They both seem capable aerially, so I would look to that. Your full backs can also play as wing backs. I am not saying that you should play a formation with wing backs, but that does suggest that they can overlap and get forward quite often. Players like Patrick van Aanholt.

Read this if you need more help with counter-attacking.
