What do people see in Bloc Party? They're ****. Even my mate who really liked their first album ******* hates them now. Their new album is about as manufactured as.

The reason people like Bloc Party is that their first album is a genuines contender fro album of this century, how many 'new' bands coudl say that.

Malcolm Middleton - Sleight of Heart.

Really like Malkys other albums, but hadn't really listened to this album properly since I first got it, but it's pretty good, Blue Plastic Bags is a great song.

as Greg says silent alarm is pure genius....AWITC was meh few good songs, and Intimacy is good atm cs its fresh but yeh prob over produced, altho songs like Halo and Ion Square and One Month Off (i think) are pretty good.

Also live they have a certain presence and have the songs to get the crowd moving.

Meh ive never been bowled over by them live but ive saw them on stage playing to 60,000 people, probably more suited to playing indoors at their own gig
