If I were a cynical man, I'd say it was because they have ****** up SC2 so god **** hard that they need a bone to throw to the community.
As a Protoss main, it's been an excruciatingly painful experience. And going against Terran is the most mind numbing experience ever. I get that Protoss is meant to be more challenging because of the tech and it's cost but they gutted the faction with a sledge hammer.

Man Death or Dishonor announced for HOI4 not the exp I was hoping for wanted a pacific theater focused one oh well interesting premise and mor focus trees are always welcome. But for the love of god Paradox time to put some serious polish on this game so I can finally spend my lazy sundays channeling my inner Rommel

The game before it dropped fast as **** too that's why I waited.
I think its because it's single player with no multiplayer to keep the value up, though you could do multiple play throughs changing the augs you unlock and your playstyle.
At the moment I'm going through trying not to kill anyone.
I've read it can be completed in 7 hours but I think that's just mainlining the story missions and not doing the side quests - and probably going full lethal with less sneaking.
So much detail in it! Hack a door, take on the guards, find a secret passage, find a code to unlock security etc. You can unlock an aug to move heavy things, then you can move things like fridges to find items under it or behind or move a vending machine to find a vent to go through, so many options!
I'm a couple of hours in and I've done the first mission which is a tutorial built in to a quest and then I'm in a big hub world with loads of things to find and do.
I've since seen it at 6.99, really recommend giving it a go, definitely worth a tenner AT LEAST

I've watched a tiny bit on youtube, I don't really buy anything full price these days as I have a backlog I'll never get through as it is haha.

Wouldn't rush in just yet tbh. Things like the game getting stuck at end turn and savegames getting corrupted are present, and people are saying the AI is way too passive. As usual I'd wait for a patch first

Just been catching up on some heartds of iron 4 death or dishonour lets plays HOI4 is finally ready for me to absolutely annihalate my social life
I've been playing DOTA2 lately. Christ, the community in these games is unbearable. Apparently there are some counterpicking apps now and people are so passive in selection it's hilarious. Nobody wants to pick a hero to play and they end up locking random **** in last possible second.

been playing the HOI4 exp and oh my its a bit good, so many improvements I had already had my moneys worth in sinking over 100 hours into it but I can easily see me spending 3 or 4 times that amount now, currently playing a communist Yugoslavia and its just so much fun. Early years are still a bit bland but once the war starts kicking off its great. think after a few more campaigns my next stop is Kaisseriech

It's why I won't play the game. When a game is as full of toxic, moronic minded scrubs as Dota and LoL I'll pass. Overwatch was heading down the same road slowly but now they're implementing a very nasty punishment system which has already seen a pro banned from tournaments for 2 seasons-and that was for intentionally throwing games. I would permanently ban those sorts but there you go.
Yeah I had hoped something had improved but evidently the same **** still keeps happening.

This game is awesome, decisions actually matter like Germany not going after Poland here looks like its going to cost them the war as the Soviet Unions endless manpower and my specialist guerrilla warfare units are just mopping them up as they thought they could handle a two front war with us commies and france. Absolutely loving this new DLC!
