Been replaying the Dead Space series.

Started Civ V. And it's already stolen nearly 10 hours of my life. This doesn't bode well for me.

I don't like Civ 5, it's..just..too..bubbly. I only played it for a couple of hours, but still, meh. On the other hand, EU4 stole my private life at one point. Amazingly addicting.

I'm probably getting it. Depends on my next salary. I always played TW series and I got RTW2 and I disliked it. It's, I don't know, underwhelming. My bud convinced me to try EU4 and it changed my life

Yeah rome 2 was underwhelming I think if they improved the UI would be much better but I did a mandatory spartan playthrough. love EU4 ive got double my fm hours, just halfway through a minghals playthrough before the next patch sorts the exploit gotta love insta coring and DDR jake.

I didn't do even that. I'm playing as Muscowy at the moment ( better say Russia) and it's pretty amusing staying away from colonial forces. Might try England when WoN comes out.

I did castille on release but never given much thought to colonial nations, done a fair few byzantine playthroughs and just done a prussian one but I normally take On non western nations and seeing how far i can push the game mechanics. Sometimes works spectacularly and sometimes the like a recent horde playthrough i get totally *** raped by rebels!

I know, before patch ( I don't know which, I'm bad at those things), I started westernization with Russia. And let me tell you something, It was painful, so many rebels and bad events. It took me over 100 years to catch up with the rest of the world. And now, now I rule

I'm guessing you hit the time of troubles event once you overcome it russia has so much manpower its untrue might fire up muscovy when i get home from uni! Been meaning to do a CK2> EU4 playthrough too from old gods start but would be such an effort! Tempted to do vikings relocating to india and then take over the world with norse india!

Going to be checking out the demo for that shortly. I seem to have reignited my passion for RTS games right now. Though admittedly I preferred dominating by using the legions of the Roman Army. Love that era

EU4 is daunting at first but once you get through it it is awesome there is some dlc out end of this month so if you decide to purchase it I'd wait till then becausemain game is always on sale when dlc hits. If you get stuck on any aspect of it feel free to give me a shout

I remember playing EU3. At first it was-riiiiight. This maaaaay take a while lol. Then my life was disappearing and many a perfectly good weekend was lost. If it's still fairly similar to the 3rd one should be okay

I never really playe EU3 but alot of the mechanics are similar but sliders are gone for monarch points and national Ideas and I know the HRE and papacy function quite differently. No infamy it is aggressive expansion which is more sensible system but really annoying at the same time and I can't think of out else of the top of my head.

Well, I can safely say goodbye to my sleeping patterns on a permanent basis then. Empire Total War, Rome Total War, Civ IV and V, EU3 and maybe EU4, Medieval 2 Total War.......first world gaming problems lol

Just out of curiosity-is anyone having problems installing games then getting a disk write error? It's happened with 3 games in a row now. Says it's installed-disk write error message-have to restart steam, then reinstall the game all over again. It's literally just happened again 5 minutes ago

My gaming time is half EU4 and CK2 a quarter FM and a quarter new games but tbh not alot put thats hitting the spot i have wasteland 2 but waiting for release before i play, Aztecs is supposed to be hard especially sunset invasion achievement, I am going to try a native american because I have conquest of paradise DLC but never really played native Americans. To say I have over 300 hours sunk into it I still have so much to do!

Yea, it's a bug. I have it occasionally when I play CS. Just quit steam and restart your PC/Laptop/whatever and then it should be fixed.

It's a challenge for sure. Oh, btw, I have 564h on CS 1.6 >.<
