Got an invite into the Strife closed beta (moba) and so far really enjoying it. Easy to get into, doesn't have the vertical learning curve of say Dota 2, doesn't take itself too seriously and more importantly it's fun. And even better unlike LoL or Dota 2 I've not come across a single piece of trash being a **** to other players. And the developers are also aiming to stamp out the moron toxic behaviour demonstrated on other Moba's-and it's working.

Did you have problems with log in? I cannot log in for the love of the god. Got the beta and everything, but says account doesn't exists.

Just logged in no problems. Try clearing everything from your browser then try again. Worst case I'd open a ticket if it still screws up

Man, the communities in Moba games are just the worst thing that ever happened to human race. I'd rather dive into elephants **** while my legs are being set on fire, then spend some 'relax' time in LoL or DOTA.

You'd think being an online gamer basically since online gaming existed I'd have thick enough skin, but Jesus, nothing can prepare you for this ****. Not even playing CoD on Xbox with 12 years old voices on mic claming they ****** my mother.

IKR I put a few hours in dota then thought **** that, those people seriously need to get laid
 
Yeah screw Mobas. I rather I'd get into a beta or a game to learn how to play-not learn to have a thick skin because of pieces of human trash
 
Just got Tropico 5 for £4.20 at go2arena and what an absolute steal it is a right cracking game if you enjoyed the previous this is a must buy and at £4.20 cannot grumble however word of warning you have to acquire the installation files yourself something I didn't realise but I sorted it ;)
 
Spending my night off trying to restore the pentarchy with Byzantium in EU4 was going great till my 250 AE triggered a 20 nation coalition oh well back to the drawing board
 
world of warcraft. And just had worst HC 10 man raid experience ever with fellow guildies 10 minutes ago. Garbage DPS (even fully gemmed and enchanted) and lost count number of times I got rezzed. Just.......**** :@

The majority of console games for the Xbox One and PS4 are coming out this October. At first I wasn't really bothered about Assassin's Creed Unity but the more I see of it the more I like it. There's also another Assassin's Creed game coming out this year called Rogue which offers a completely different perspective in which you play an Assassin that defects to the Templars which I like the sound of.

I know this thread is called "What Game Are You Playing At The Moment?" but games for next-gen consoles are sparse.

When Microsoft announced that one of the new Tomb Raider games would be an Xbox One "exclusive" it made me more glad I had a PC. They're desperate to improve sales for a lagging platform and doing this was the wrong way. They're just being dumb. I used to love using my "original" Xbox-lots of great games. But these days they're just stupidly priced-both console and game release wise. I could by 7-8 pc games for the price of a console game. It's just completely stupid. My opinion of Microsoft has deteriorated greatly lately
 
anybody who I talk/debate with on base want a copy of terraria or crusader kings 2 just got humble bundle and I have these already.
 
So I thought it would be a good to spend some of my time off playing as byzantium in EU4.......
 
Did you go to war with the Ottomans? I created massive navy first, went into even more massive debt, and then blockade the Constantinople with my ships. Trick is you have to have bigger navy than Ottomans. Then you simple siege their land if they don't have army on Balkan ( they usually don't have).

Yeah I am spamming galleys but they have declared war on me a little too soon and wreck my navy or Venice decide they want to start a war with me after a couple of wars. I am in a good position right now got 25 galleys and have retaken Trebizond and Cyprus allied with Aragon Austria Poland and Muscovy just waiting for Poland to annex Moldavia and I am gunna have my first crack at the ottoscum. I am always on tenterhooks when I play iron man tho in case I make a mistake!

It took a lot of patience. For a week I didn't have life. Never been into CK2. GoT mod looks sexy, but that's not good enough for me to get it.

Yea, getting allied with Aragon is helpful, they have good navy, but they also control Naples, who also have good navy. Looking forward to see if you're going to manage it.
