There's a streamer I love to watch called Day9 (extremely well known Starcraft 2 player/caster) and that's where I first heard of this-he's got a youtube series going that's worth watching.

I recommend following him aswell as he discovers some real gems of games

Yeah may give him a watch because the recipes are getting more complex and could do with some input, would also like to see different styles of automation. I've mainly been watching shenryyr and Arumba

Day9 is ******* awesome, you'll rarely find anyone with his love and genuine affection for games. His steam quality has gone down a bit this days (understandable as he used to do serious prep work for every single one) but his youtube is still amazing. Do you ever watch Kibler?

-Edit-

That laugh

Day9's laugh would cure all ailments. I could be serious. Laugh starts. Then I go from serious-smile-grin-chuckle-tears rolling down face lol. He just never gets salty and is just one of the most down to earth people I've seen (story time is awesome too-Raw Toxins is just incredible lol). When I get salty from HS I just watch his vids and I remember that I'm just playing a game. He could get absolutely rekt and he just laughs it off. Also enjoy using some of his decks aswell.

I do watch Kibler yeah and he's just as entertaining-I'm also using his Priest Shadowform deck and I love it. Kibler is another streamer who I have never seen get salty from a game. It's what makes these guys so watchable. They enjoy doing what they doing which is gaming and having fun and not giving a ****. Too many streamers who get salty and they use it to get viewers. I find that very unappealing

Never really thought to look for one, usually just hit youtube why are there any good ones?

I'm always listening to a couple while cooking or washing up lol.

Have a look at Mojo Interactive, usually do a weekly show lasting an hour and a half to two hours. Has English hosts and a couple of Americans pop on fairly regularly. Pretty light hearted look at what games they're playing and their views on them.

My favorite is The Same Coin though, 3 (now 4) blokes chatting absolute bollocks about various things and games. Really funny if you don't mind swearing and filth lol. They do have good views on games too though!

Lost every game of Stacraft since Wednesday. The salt is real.

On the plus side got Dawn of War: Master Collection for $1 from Humble Bundle sale. Be giving that a proper go over easter weekend

I feel the salt, would be exactly the same. RTS games I am so poor at but I love to watch skilled players.

Playing Dawn of War now is weird. It was incredible at the time, but there's just this lingering sense that it should have been incredible instead of just great. A tiny bit more depth in a variety of things (campaign wargear for example) and it would be close to perfect.

Yeah some people have mentioned it (Soulstorm getting flak it seems when compared to Dark Crusade).

I'm still really looking forward to Total War: Warhammer aswell

Soulstorm has that absolutely ridiculous loading time iirc. They're still great games, I just feel like if you could combine 1 and 2, that's what we've all been looking for.

Total: Warhammer is going to be awesome. Everything about it so far looks incredible and they've really captured the fluff in their faction rules. Sniping the VC commander as the undead slowly start to overrun you is going to be a real highlight.

Something a bit different but I'm playing Life is Strange atm and it's surprisingly good.

I found my game of the year. Stardew Valley.

Don't get dissuaded by the cheerful looks and pixel graphics, this game is the most addictive thing I've touched in ages. I've played up to 3am the entire weekend. Everything in there perfectly fits together, the music, the art, the gameplay, you just lose track of time and notice you've played too long when the sun is rising. And it's a one-man team that did the whole thing. Super impressive. And there's TONS of content in there, it's an open-ended game you could play for weeks and months.

If "farmer RPG" makes no sense to you as a game, worry not. It didn't make sense to me too. Friend talked me into trying and I have no regrets.

Currently to distract me from Stellaris releasing in 5 weeks I have loaded up the old classic Hearts of iron 3 (which coincidentally will prepare me for 4s release on D-day) forgot how much fun HOI is to a war buff, currently rewriting the history books as nationalist china (the irony) and preparing for war against Japan! Great way to pass my 40 hour work shift!

Also I will be making a purchase in the amazon sale either a desktop or making a desktop. Just miss it too ;)

Darkest Hour mod for HoI3 is a must.

Yeah I enjoyed that mod along with black ice, just playing vanilla atm with francescos counter mod whilst I get back into it. I am 100 percent getting 4 it is dividing the community but the changes they are making suit my playstyle down to the ground.

FFS EP, I need to stop checking this thread because you keep posting games I'm interested in!

On that video, what is that woman doing to the goat at around 42 seconds!?

Sigh....how much is that Stardew Valley then?
