i play a 4 1 3 2 with liverpool as my strikers i have romelu lukaku and torres, torres is playing okay howevr romelu is not scoring goals i have tried him as a target man and poacher but he still doesnt score. what do i do is it because im in first season and he is only 17 he has good traning what do i do!!!
I used Romelu as a target man in FM10 and I can tell you the same story. He wasn't scoring at all, it was like playing with 10 men on the field. But eventually he became the best striker in the league. It's a sort of a player that needs time to blend in and starts to play like he should.
For FM11, you could try to play Torres as a target man and just set Romelu to any duty, the important thing is that Romelu is put to support, so he can blend in with the other striker and deliver him the balls and also be involved into creating goal scoring opportunities.
btw, did you put Romelu on the list of target men ? Is he chosen to be tm in the team tactics ?

It depends on your formation, but i suggest that you put Ozil to winger/advanced playmaker and set both "Roam from position" and "Hold up ball" to Yes, and he should cut inside too. When i played with Werder it worked for me, and it still works. Improves his game alot ! Try putting Ozil to support, so he can just create chaos in the att 3rd of the field. Oh yea, he is very bad at shooting from distance so make sure his long shots are set to rarely.
Teach Muller to play CF and it's a pure win imo (H)
Kroos is a very good versatile player, you can play him almost everywhere (if position is accomplished). I suggest playing him as an Advanced Playmaker.
